Translate legal documents and client correspondence from Japanese to English and/or English to Japanese;
Review work product and proof-read for accuracy before attorney final dissemination;
Translate attorney biographies and practice group descriptions to Japanese;
Translate the Firm's internal and external articles and publications to Japanese;
Prepare bilingual materials for seminars, training sessions, etc., as needed; and
Effectively deal with issues of confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years' translation experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills, spelling, and grammar in both Japanese and English
Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Detail oriented, thorough and accurate
Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision
Compensation
The salary range for this position is based upon various factors including the individual's experience, skills, and qualifications. An estimate of the salary range for this position is: $28.00- $38.00 per hour.

Work with localization service providers (LSPs) and in-country reviewers (ICRs) to ensure projects capture brand voice and meet quality standards
Leverage linguistic expertise to evaluate, fine-tune, and improve the quality of Large Language Model (LLM) and Machine Translation (MT) systems through data annotation, error analysis, and targeted training
Track, prioritize, and resolve product localization defects
Identify and implement process improvements
Continuously broaden knowledge of the company and product initiatives
What we are looking for:
Ability to write in and translate into German on a native speaker level (Required)
Near native (C2) level proficiency in English (Required)
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience translating technical software content (Required)
Minimum of 1 year of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tool experience (Required)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deadlines simultaneously (Required)
Fluency in Dutch on an advanced (B2) level (Preferred)
Experience with mac OS and iOS platforms (Preferred)

The analyst will support our U.S. Navy customer along with a team of all source analysts and linguists using advanced tools and techniques to exploit PAI and integrate with classified data to produce high-quality analytic intelligence products.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct Farsi language translations and first line analysis from both publicly available/open source intelligence resources and classified sources using advanced analytic tools, methodologies, and tradecraft Conduct OSINT tool and tradecraft training as required, spanning anywhere from 1 hour to three days in duration
+ Conduct research on vessels of interest using various resources and apply information to briefings, RFIs, and finished intelligence products
