Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.** The contractor will be responsible for the proper repair and maintenance for a large fleet of forklifts and related equipment of various brands (predominately Raymond). The forklift fleet consists of a variety of electric, gas-, and diesel-powered units designed for interior and exterior building use. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive maintenance schedule, obtaining approval for the schedule from appropriate government focal points, and adhering to the schedule in order to ensure all forklift units are mechanically ready for use and safe to operate. The contractor shall manage a spare parts inventory and make all levels of repairs when necessary. The contractor will also be responsible for repairing and maintaining pallet jacks and carts.
**Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities**
+ Schedules, prioritizes, inspects, and repairs forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts
+ Determines, within prescribed value range, when a major component/ assembly is to be repaired, rebuilt, replaced or discarded
