Compensation: $25.00-$35.00 (+ 2% shift differential)
What You Will Do:
Diagnose construction equipment repair needs and perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned machines as directed. Perform mechanic skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.)
Preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep.
Detection of faults through the use of diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments in all machine systems: electronics, hydraulics, power train, engines, and general machine performance is expected.
Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer's specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling.
Occasional use of basic welding equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Research repair needs and order parts as needed.
Load or unload equipment or components from customer-owned or common carrier vehicles.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Education and Work Experience:
At least 4 years of US Military experience required
Technical, vocational, trade school education or equivalent required.
2-5 years experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment; knowledge and experience with heavy equipment, mining equipment, systems, engines and components required.
Experience in diagnosing equipment utilizing laptop computers, gauges, and instruments in all machine systems: electronics, hydraulics, power train, engines, and general machine performance is expected.
Knowledge of basic tools and tool usage, including basic welding skills.

Crane Engineering is a pre-eminent distributor of pumps, valves, filters, and other fluid handling solutions to a broad range of industries.
What You Get To Do
Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and other rotating equipment in house and at customer site.
Install fluid process equipment at industrial customer sites.
Install and perform service on wastewater equipment at customer sites.
Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves and other accessories.
Troubleshoot fluid process equipment problems and prepare recommendations for repair or replacement.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding service work, repair parts and pump operation.
Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
Requirements
What We Need From You
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience on rotating equipment maintenance, repair and installation.
Willingness to learn.
