THE ROLE The Facility Technician is a part-time, event-based position responsible for facility maintenance, general cleaning, and the setup and breakdown of event spaces at the Charles F. Dodge City Center. ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and general equipment systems. Install, repair, and replace facility systems and components as needed. Monitor and operate building systems, including the energy management system. This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets. You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal. Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls. You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service. Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. Careers | DRMP Your Primary Responsibilities will include * Learn and develop an understanding of ASCE 38-02 standards and Quality Levels, including their applications (training provided). * Receive hands-on training to assist with underground utility flagging ("designation") using ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic equipment, and other geophysical tools. * Provide underground utility flagging "designation", including water, sewer, gas, electric, fiber optic, PVC, and all other underground facilities that would affect an excavation of a site. * Marking said utilities with flags and/or paint and produce a sketch of results for future use by the client. * Learn to operate vacuum excavation trucks and related equipment or perform manual digging ("hand dig") under supervision to verify utility characteristics. * Assisting with maintenance of vehicles/trucks, equipment, and work sites. * Researching all utilities that may be on a site prior to entering a site. * Exercising extreme caution near or around any utility facility and follow all applicable job site safety parameters.
