    This is a doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position, you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. Job Details: Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed. Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered. Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you. You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day. You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day. You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day. The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you. You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial) You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided. Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and optimize plant process control equipment such as control valves, transmitters, gas flow meters. Organize and/or conduct daily instrumentation activities. Be an active participant in Certarus MOC process. Order parts create work orders, and capture equipment history in company CMMS. Participate in Environment, Health and Safety programs. Work with a variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force and chemical composition. Consult manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures. Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation, diagnose faults and tubing. Diagnose and repair PLC issues and malfunctions. Requirements: Minimum of 4-5 years of electrical or instrumentation experience. Must have knowledge and the ability to read and interpret all information found within electrical, mechanical blueprints and diagrams. Proficiency with a variety of I/E hand tools meters, instrument calibration equipment etc. Ability to trouble shoot complex electrical control systems and to maintain instrumentation systems. Journeyman instrumentation or electrician certification is an asset. Clean driving record with the ability to travel extensively within the Southern/Central US regions (60 - 80%.)
