Primary Duties The primary job duties of the psychology lab assistant work study students includes attending lab sessions and assisting the psychology instructor leading the session. This can include tracking attendance, facilitating small group discussion, and assisting with grading of lab work. Lab session work typically results in approximately 3-9 hours per week. Additional work is available, up to 20 hours per week and is flexible in scheduling. This may include assisting with prepping class materials, research related activities, and other experiences tailored to the student's interest within the field of psychology. This work study is a mentor opportunity aimed at helping a student develop skills within the field of psychology. Training will be provided so that students can effectively perform their job duties and they will work closely with a faculty member to identify individual goals for additional experiences.
