Job Summary
The Loudoun County Department of General Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Facilities Security Technician II position within the Facilities Support Division. This position will specialize in Electronic Security Systems (Card Access, Intrusion, Camera Surveillance, Fire Safety, Life Safety). The ideal candidate will have a proven work history demonstrating knowledge, skill, and ability in the installation, programming, and maintenance of electronic security access control and camera surveillance systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair system problems. Familiarity with fire safety systems is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Installation, maintenance, programming, and monitoring of County-wide electronic access control systems.
Installation, maintenance, programming, and monitoring of video camera surveillance systems.

Track cost, schedule, and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop project-specific policy, procedures, and report status to all levels
Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution
Manage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in service delivery
Prepare monthly cost reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy. When appropriate, propose a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustments
Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities
Ensure a smooth deployment of artificial intelligence technology into secure environments, adhering to DevSecOps and Cybersecurity practices.
Work closely with Cybersecurity resources to document controls, support accreditation processes, and provide metrics to comply with audits, including IATT and ATO documentation.
Anticipate and resolve procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set-aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategy
Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities
Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Minimum of 5 years consulting experience
Minimum 3 years project management and/or task leadership experience
Experience with GenAI technologies and a strong point of view on how these tools can be combined to impact the government
Experience in the areas of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies
Demonstrated experience in deploying software systems adhering to DevSecOps principles and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with documenting security controls, supporting accreditation processes, and providing metrics for audits, including IATT and ATO documentation.
Technically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadership
Product management or related product lifecycle experience
Superior communication skills, both oral and written
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a "client first" attitude
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to successful outcomes
Exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of project management best practices
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needs
High level of business acumen, ability to develop and implement strategy
Strong connector - make insightful connections to bring the right people together to solve problems and grow the business
Desired Skills
Master's degree or higher (MBA, Masters in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field)
Proven experience managing and deploying software into DHS environments, ensuring compliance with DHS security rules and documentation.
Experience with cloud technology deployment models (AWS preferred)
Ability to design, develop, and deploy applications in microservice architectures
In-depth experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration engines (e.g., Kubernetes)
Target salary range: $130,986 - $233,154
