Brief Description:
The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, structural board-up and security, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, content processing/deodorization, content storage, and handling.

Lead, train, and support a team of Technicians in diagnosing system issues, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, and completing repairs efficiently.
Conduct inspections, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to prevent system failures.
Ensure all work meets technical specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection logs.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to coordinate work and resolve issues.
Stay current with industry standards, new technologies, and ESI training programs.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Maintenance or Industrial Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Solid understanding of single and 3-phase motors, low and high voltage systems, and industrial controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Effective leadership skills - able to coach, guide, and set expectations for others.
Dependable, self-motivated, and accountable for both quality and safety.
Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work at heights when required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Maintain a service van and its inventory.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
* Less than 2 years related experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
* Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
* Industry related training is preferred
* Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
