As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of CenTrak's hardware infrastructure, tags, and other devices at our customer sites. This is a highly visible customer facing position for a detail-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be a focused individual able to work responsibly for us. This is a hands-on position that requires you to be very proactive and energetic to develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and control circuits from 24v up to and including 480V AC, electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation devices, PLCs / ladder logic controllers, and variable frequency drives as necessary. Provide daily assistance to technicians as you read blueprints/schematics/ladder logic/sequence of operations, conduct tours of systems, and assess their working order. This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
