The purpose of this job is to provide primarily electrical maintenance support across the Newark businesses at the Newark Site. Key Responsibilities

* Primary responsibility for meeting maintenance needs on low, medium, and high voltage equipment.

* Repairs, maintains and installs electrically driven equipment and machinery which is used in the process.

* Trouble shoots, improves, repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis of I&E equipment.

* Collaborate with maintenance coordinators, lead electricians, other peers, and the process owners for all equipment needing support.

* Actively participates in the implementation of the Global Maintenance Work Process for I&E work.

* Provides Operating Discipline for electrical tasks in Newark Maintenance.

* Assist PPM Coordinator role in defining appropriate electrical spare parts, building equipment files in SAP, and defining necessary scheduled services for electrical equipment in Newark Maintenance.

* Provide technical input to the PPM Coordinator to improve electrical PPM programs

* Write electrical operation, isolation, and maintenance procedures and assist in training on procedures where appropriate.

* Trains operations and maintenance personnel on electrical equipment as needed.

* Work to improve asset utilization of electrical equipment throughout Newark by participating on audit teams, participating in cost of ownership studies and reliability engineering studies.

* Planning electrical work

* Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed correctly as needed to conform to policies and regulations.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Improve Reliability Work Process and Global Maintenance Work Process Implementation/Effectiveness (IRWP Self Assessments, GMWP Self Assessments, Top Opportunity Lists, Facility and Equipment Strategies, etc) as applicable to I&E role and equipment.

* RCA failure analysis on unplanned equipment downtime and repeat failures.

* Reduce plant maintenance costs.

* Meet plant production goals.

Your qualification profile:

The following are required:

* Graduate of 2-year technical school or equivalent

* Applicants are preferred to have 3 - 5+ years as a maintenance technician/electrician in a plant/manufacturing environment

* Strong electrical knowledge and background

* Have a strong working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repair of machine control systems and:
* 3-phase, 480VAC systems

* Motor controls

* Pneumatics

* Hydraulics

* Mechanical systems

* Welding systems
