Brief Description:
The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, structural board-up and security, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, content processing/deodorization, content storage, and handling.

STACK is looking for a Critical Operations Technician (COT) to support a local data center campus. As a member of STACK's Critical Operations team, the Critical Operations Technician must possess strong knowledge in maintaining the mechanical, electrical, fire life safety, base building, and other various internal data center systems. The COT will also be focused on the execution of programs related to Safety, Team, Availability, Communication, and Knowledge. The COT will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the data center.
Mechanical responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units, CRAC/CRAH units, humidification systems, fan wall systems, air-cooled chillers, and central plant operations. Electrical responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load, UPS, PDU, and RPP cabinets. Fire Life Safety responsibilities will include monitoring wet sprinkler systems and pre-action sprinkler systems as well as their associated detection devices.

Position purpose
The Technician Apprentice functions as a representative of Home Detail Services LLC and is responsible for performing gutter cleaning, window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and Christmas lighting.

Compensation package
The Technician Apprentice will start at $22/hour as an assistant to the Crew leader with a possibility to receive greater compensation based on performance. The compensation range for this role depends on if the Technician Apprentice works part time (as few as 4 hours per week) or full time (up to 40 hours per week) and may range from $4,576 to $45,760 per year, accordingly, before performance bonuses. Based on work experience and performance, other aspects of the compensation package include:

Essential physical functions
The Technician Apprentice must be able to do the following physical tasks:
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Climbing and carrying a ladder

Vision abilities require driving, as well as close reading
Work in a variety of weather conditions, besides snow, including both hot and wet conditions such as over 100 Fahrenheit heat in the Summer and rain in the Winter
Essential mental functions
The Technician Apprentice works in a self-governing environment. The Technician Apprentice must be able to follow a set of procedures, sustain concentration while multitasking, and be detail oriented. The Technician Apprentice may also need to have the ability to do math (equations, multiplying and dividing, spreadsheets, forecasting), interact with other people, and present to an audience.

Restoration Technician - Key Responsibilities:
Provides safety for workers and occupants during the water/mold remediation process.
In tandem with the Project Manager and Production Supervisor, develops remediation plan and time line to completion.
Install contamination barriers using plastic and solid materials, and ensures that all decontamination equipment has been installed prior to commencing work.
Control the contaminant at its source.
Physically remove the contamination.
Takes effort to correct any and all moisture problems to prevent re-contamination.
Maintains and provides all required documentation.
Provides the PM with daily job updates
Posts company warning signs to identify potential hazards that may exist on the job site.
Ensures that all labor personnel use Personal Protection Equipment the whole time they are working
in the hazardous area.
Follows all company and industry-approved guidelines in the remediation process for water mitigation and mold contamination.
Assists in Fire restoration and contents pack-out/pack back as needed
Utilize moisture meters/industry software as necessary to complete daily tasks to carrier requirements.
