Tap all screwed connection prior to plugging. Clean all sealing surfaces of flanges or closures. Tape and apply never seize to all screw connections. Get proper gasket for each size and grade of flange. Tighten all screwed plugs and blind properly. Install proper fill line and vents on vessel. Install proper test gauge (per test pressure). Operate fill and high pressure pumps. Bring vessel safely up to test pressure testing. Drain water to storage tank and dry vessel. Perform the above as well for low pressure air test. Any other activity required by supervisor. Skills/Knowledge This position requires working knowledge of piping. Being able to use 24, 36, and 48 inch pipe Wrenches as well as impact wrenches.
