To assist with critical service issues, the role includes on-call duties as part of daily responsibilities, requiring availability after hours on weekdays. Weekend on-call shifts will be rotated on a scheduled basis to ensure support during urgent weekend needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support customers, coordinators, field technicians, and project managers with technical advice, troubleshooting, and resource allocation
Collaborate with Business Development and Operations to provide pre-sales and post-sales support for MTG solutions and systems
Deliver remote and hands-on training to field personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, client specifications, and MTG's quality standards
Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting, programming, maintaining, and servicing client systems
Pre-program, build, and stage equipment for installation when practical, to streamline on-site setup
Provide remote and on-site programming and commissioning for client systems
Conduct remote and on-site quality assurance audits to verify system performance and installation standards
Assist installation, service, and coordination teams with technical planning, issue resolution, and commissioning, ensuring systems operate as intended and meet MTG quality standards
Provide user training to client representatives
Provide technical training to field personnel and colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician who's ready for a role that goes beyond basic installs. In this position, you'll support, troubleshoot, and ensure the quality of advanced security and workplace technology systems-including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection. Most work is performed remotely or from our Eden Prairie office, with frequent onsite travel (local and national) for system support, training, and commissioning.
💵 Base salary up to $110K + $6,000 car allowance + $900 phone stipend
What You'll Do
Install, service, and support low voltage systems such as access control, CCTV, intrusion, and EAS
Troubleshoot and repair field issues, ensuring all systems function to spec
Perform onsite commissioning, system programming, and testing
Conduct QA inspections to verify installation quality and compliance
Pre-stage, configure, and prepare equipment prior to field deployment
Provide remote and onsite support for technicians and customers
Train field teams and end users on system operation and best practices
Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical service issues

Comfortable with travel up to 60% and after-hours service rotations

You will work closely with our restoration team to assess damage, contain mold-affected areas, execute remediation plans and perform pre-clearance testing while following industry best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform inspections to identify the presence of mold, determine the extent of contamination and participate in outlining the remediation scope required.
* Determine the origin of the water source.
* Set up containment barriers and environmental controls to prevent the spread of mold spores.
* Safely remove and dispose of contaminated materials in accordance with IICRC standards.
* Operate specialized equipment, such as HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
* Clean, treat and seal impacted surfaces to eliminate mold spores and prevent regrowth.
* Maintain accurate documentation of remediation activities, including photographs, reports, and logs.
* Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure a smooth remediation process.
* Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA, IICRC, and other industry standards.
* Assist with other mitigation and restoration tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* iPad/Computer and Microsoft Office literate.
* Previous experience in mold mitigation, construction, or environmental/asbestos remediation.
* Certification in mold remediation (e.g., IICRC, AMRT) is a plus.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various environments.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) including a full-face respirator.
* Strong attention to detail and cleaning.
* Organization and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Professional, career minded, senior technician level aptitude is a plus.
