Field Technician I Duration: 6 month contract Main Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots network equipment, removes/replaces defective equipment, and works with appropriate resources to isolate and ultimately restore network.
Proactively identify potential problem areas to ensure integrity of the network and company.
Assists in the installation/change/decommission and testing of Next Generation technologies such as Edge Compute, Wavelength, Fiber Optic transport, Ethernet, SONET and IP network layers for all available bandwidths offered.
May install and test network and customer premise equipment (CPE) including installation and delivery of end user services.
Utilizes industry standard software and hardware tools to accurately locate, mark, and protect underground outside plant facilities.
AC Power (on limited basis).
DC power installs including tertiary and BDCBB.
Responsible for asset management processes and replenishment of on-site/truck materials.
Coordinates shipping and receiving of company and customer materials.
Maintains tools, test sets, and all network equipment.
Performs level 1 preventive scheduled maintenance and inspections on network and critical infrastructure equipment including HVAC systems, high-voltage electrical systems, and DC power plants.
Assist other personnel to complete these activities when needed.
Proficient in all the systems and applications required to perform the job function adequately
Update/report inventory records changes, complete transactional updates within systems to show appropriate activities by job type, enter appropriate time log, and responsive to requests for information/escalations.
Regularly provides status updates and reports problem situations related to assignments to management.
Objectively evaluate, via provided reports/tools, individual performance in respect to area ornational performance objectives.
With support of manager, ability to identify areas ofimprovement as applicable.
Perform other duties assigned by management team.
Understands that basics of installation/change/decommissioning/testing of transport,Ethernet, SONET and IP network layers for all available bandwidths offered.

Basic Function
The Field Service Representative is responsible for operating and maintaining Cambrian's Wastewater Treatment Facility in Denver, CO, ensuring compliance with water quality standards, supporting project execution, and contributing to system commissioning. This role involves hands-on system operation, assisting with plant start-up and commissioning activities, resolving operational issues within 24 hours, and helping to manage small-scale upgrades and retrofits in coordination with engineers and contractors.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wastewater treatment processes such as Anaerobic Treatment, MBRs, and Reverse Osmosis (RO), and a solid understanding of EPA, OSHA, and Colorado state regulations. The role requires frequent communication with customers and Cambrian's Field Operations leadership, and occasional travel to support other U.S. sites.
Key Responsibilities - These are the key items that employees are accountable for. They represent the outcomes and goals that the employee is expected to achieve.
Operate and maintain the full treatment system and all ancillary equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications
Use Ignition and Allen-Bradley control systems to monitor and operate the system, including remote access and timely alarm response
Perform regular calibration and preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, chemical systems, field instruments, and other critical equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation
Monitor and adjust process parameters such as MLSS, pH, sludge age, solids retention time, COD/BOD removal efficiency, flow, dissolved oxygen, and temperature
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring OSHA compliance and collaborating with the Safety Team as needed
Analyze operational data to evaluate system trends, identify disruptions, and ensure regulatory and performance compliance
Communicate regularly with clients and project teams to share operational insights, provide technical summaries, and support system optimization
Read and interpret engineering plans, P&IDs, PFDs, O&M manuals, and installation details; verify that installations align with design documents
Assist in developing, implementing, and revising operational protocols for both new and existing sites
Support project management by tracking tasks, updating schedules, and assisting with site upgrades and retrofits
Assist with pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, executing assigned tasks on schedule with a minimum 95% completion rate
Lead punch-list development and resolution before plant handover; verify systems meet specifications before final sign-off
Support and perform functional and performance testing during the commissioning phase
Maintain accurate records, document work completed, and contribute to regular operational reporting
Participate in ongoing training and professional development as determined by the Senior Director of Site Operations; complete required continuing education hours annually

Possess a Wastewater license in the state of Colorado, or the ability to obtain equivalent.
Operated and optimized WWTPs in food/beverage or municipal sectors
Managed digestor systems: phosphorus removal, suspended growth, anaerobic treatment, solids separation
Maintained and operated MBR and RO units
Hands-on experience with anaerobic/aerobic treatment, RO, UFMBR, MBBR, filtration, chemical dosing, biogas reactors
Operated and maintained skidded/process equipment, process controls, and instrumentation
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical basics: pumps, valves, piping, dewatering, solids handling

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. Community Maintenance

Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner

Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events
Assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas
Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs
Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to daily to identify, minimize and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns
Maintain preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community while minimizing future repairs
Responsible for understanding and following Asset key policy
Maintain well-organized and properly stocked maintenance shop while adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the hazard communications program; teach and promote safe work practices
Participate in unit inspections as requested
Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies as requested
Maintain accurate records regarding service requests, EPA/OSHA standards, preventative maintenance, apartment make-ready status, work in progress, etc.
