The focus of this technician is the accurate collection of prescription information, allergy information, patient and/or family/guardian interview, and documentation of those activities. The complete collection of medication information may also include contacting pharmacies, long-term care facilities, and prescribers.
Additionally, the Medication History Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the pharmacist following established policy and procedures set forth by the hospital and pharmacy department. This role meets the requirements of being a qualified pharmacy technician as established by the State Board of Pharmacy and holds a Certified Pharmacy Technician license from a State Board of Pharmacy accredited agency. The technician adheres to safety practices to ensure quality care for patients and maintains competencies outlined in pharmacy department policies. Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Inventory Management
Demand Forecasting
Partner with internal teams to gather data for accurate demand forecasting.
Use forecasting tools and methodologies to analyze historical sales and market trends
Inventory Management
Maintain optimal inventory levels to support e-commerce, wholesale, and event needs.

Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve demand planning and licensing processes.
Support implementation of best practices that protect and enhance brand integrity
Licensing Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end licensing processes, including applications, submissions, tracking, production samples, and documentation.
Partner with regulatory agencies to ensure timely and accurate processing of all licenses.
Renewals & Compliance
Monitor license expiration dates and proactively initiate renewals.
Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and partner with Supply Chain to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the licensing database.
Provide regular licensing status updates to internal stakeholders.
Communication & Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external agencies on licensing matters.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to resolve licensing-related issues.

About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and dependable sterile compounding pharmacy technician. As part of the pharmacy team, you will use your knowledge of USP 797 to compound medications that are safe and effective for patients under Pharmacist supervision.
Shift differential is available for overnight shifts.
Shift is 6:00pm-6:00am, on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule
You Will:
* Adhere to the safety and environment procedures as outlined in the Site SOPs and wear appropriate PPE while executing daily tasks.
* Compound sterile medications.
* Perform the component preparation, the formulation of the solutions, perform the aseptic filling of the solutions and/or inspection and packaging of filled units
* Perform daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities according to facility SOP's.
* Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleanroom suite support responsibilities, including, but not limited to, compounding materials and supplies preparation, equipment calibration, cleaning, dishwashing, and sterilization or depyrogenation of equipment, according to facility SOP's.
* Document compounding-related and daily, weekly, and monthly activities according to facility SOPs and as required by USP 797.
* Communicate with pharmacists and report on issues in the lab.
* Utilizes equipment as instructed by the pharmacist.
* Completes training as required by USP 797
You Have:
* Current registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio and National Certification (CPhT)
* Strong communication skills and can work independently.
* Full time role 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1+ year compounding experience (nonsterile or sterile)
