**Summary**
Provides Emergency Room technical support for physicians and nurses to optimize patient care. All activities are under the license of the MD. Assists the RNs and MDs in providing technical care of the patients by performing phlebotomy and IV starts, performing 12 lead EKGs, transporting patients to other departments, placing patient on cardiac and vital sign monitors, performs Point of Care Testing, performing wound care, inserting foley catheters, obtaining lab specimens and documenting all care/procedures provided. **Requirements**

We are looking for a 3rd shift (12AM~8:30AM) Engineering Technician for a cross functional Cell Engineering team to perform SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis and support battery materials R&D. The primary responsibilities will be to prepare the analysis samples, operate SEM, keep an accurate record of the data, and help keep the lab safe and efficient.
Responsibilities
· Operate SEM and provide the analysis results to the engineering team.
· Help with sample preparation and instrument maintenance.
· Work with engineers from various teams to support material analysis using . SEM, cross section, and other techniques as needed.
· Document sample preparation process and analysis results in an organized and timely manner.
· Keep the working area clean and well organized for a safe and efficient working environment.
· Report on any issues related to the process and/or the lab and help find the solution.
Requirements
· Knowledge on the principles and operation of scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS)
· 1+ years' hands-on experience on SEM with diverse types of samples
· High school diploma or equivalent. Engineering or chemistry related AS or BS preferred.
· Experience working with hazardous chemicals
· Above average manual dexterity and visual acuity are required in order to perform delicate sample preparation and analysis.
· Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
· Good communication skills
· Experience in cross section sample preparation by mechanical polishing and/or ion milling tool is desired but not required.
· Experience in other chemical analysis instruments such as XRD, FTIR, TGA, and/or XRF is desired but not required.
