Work collaboratively with nursing staff, therapy, and physicians to aid patients with mobilization needs. * Assist with delegated treatment plan activities that include patient mobility, transporting patients, assisting patients in and out of bed, lifts, and ambulation. * Gather patient information prior to treatment sessions according to the Progressive Mobility Protocol (PMP) and document in EPIC. * Assist with equipment inspection, maintenance, and storage, cleaning/disinfection, and supply procurement. * Collaborate and communicate with the interprofessional team regarding patients' response to delegated activities. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care procedures performed. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations impacting quality and safety targets on the unit-based scorecard, through peer-to-peer accountability, reporting near misses, and collaborating with the interprofessional team. Contribute to meeting department and hospital targets for quality and safety. * Assist in gathering and maintaining data for quality improvement projects, inventory of supplies in the department, and prioritize daily tasks.
