This role handles incidents and service requests using standardized processes, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs). Duties include troubleshooting and supporting desktops, laptops, network administration, various business applications, and specialized healthcare software.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, demonstrates strong customer service skills, and can work effectively both independently and within a team. Prior healthcare IT experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for technical issues and service requests.
Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related incidents, ensuring prompt updates to end-users.
Assist with specialized applications, including:
Client tracking systems
Dental software
Pharmacy software
Glucose meter integration tools
Review and prioritize incident tickets, schedule tasks, and maintain SLA compliance.
Create and update end-user and administrative documentation.
Monitor system performance proactively and optimize resources to prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot remotely and on-site for enterprise software, hardware, and basic network infrastructure.
Configure, image, and deploy new systems, installing authorized software and applying updates/patches.
Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and security groups.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, copiers, fax machines, and related software.
Perform file and folder security management per established policies.
Collaborate with vendors for support, licensing, and training.
Maintain internal knowledge bases and contribute to process improvements.
Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for emergency support as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use precision test equipment.

As a specialized hazardous material technician, may:
Coordinate inventory and pickup of hazardous material and maintain current inventory of on‐ site chemicals.
Advise and assist in clean‐up of chemical spills.
Coordinate packaging, labeling, storing, and scheduling pickup of hazardous waste for offsite disposal.
Maintain accurate records of all hazardous waste shipped offsite.
Initiate compliance inspections.
Provide technical assistance on hazardous materials compliance and safe practices.
Perform other related responsibilities.
Job Requirements:

Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 1-3 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Maintain a service van and its inventory.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
* Less than 2 years related experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
* Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
* Industry related training is preferred
* Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
