Responsibilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is labor intensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis. This position requires 90% of frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, bending, squatting and prolonged standing and sitting. It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transports patient care equipment and supplies as directed by dispatcher, lead, or manager. Completes distribution calls within allotted time standards.
Delivers and/ or sets up required equipment at various patient care areas throughout the hospital in a safe and efficient manner.

Participates in in-service education sessions and related to training to increase personal knowledge of specific work-related issues and personal development.
Responds to customers (hospital staff and physicians) requests in a professional, helpful and timely manner in person and on the telephone.

The Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, like lubricating parts, as well as fixing other problems when the crane malfunction. The Technician position work in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required.
* Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
* Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders.
* Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis.
* Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify immediate supervisor of any deficiencies.
* Maintain the ability to work with others in team environment.
* Attend company provided trainings and seminars as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is labor intensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis. This position requires 90% of frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, bending, squatting and prolonged standing and sitting. It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Heights exceeding over 50 feet from time to time are normal to incur on a daily basis to maintain a crane. Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20 50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
* Must always commit to working and driving safely
* Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
* Must have basic computer skills
* Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumes the responsibility of operating pipelines and associated equipment such as dehydrators, treating equipment, fluid separating equipment, valves, gas/liquid measurement equipment, pumps, etc. Operating the equipment and system may include, but is not limited to:
Pigging and/or directing activities to pig pipelines used for natural gas, condensate and produced water gathering.
Start-up/shutdown of equipment.
Adjusting controls to bring equipment into recommended or prescribed operating ranges.
Visually inspecting equipment and controls at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
De-pressuring equipment and pipelines.
Purging/pressurizing equipment and pipelines.
Performing pipeline patrols.
Performing gas leakage surveys.
Locating and marking underground pipelines and monitor construction activity along the ROW.
Operating valves.
Implements safe work practices and a proactive safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment at all times.
Keeps Gas Control advised of any operational changes to the pipeline or equipment, as well as any safety related conditions.
Ensures regulatory compliance and record keeping requirements are met and continually monitored. The regulations include but are not limited to the Department of Transportation, Railroad Commission, and Operator Qualification plans.
Reads, monitors, and records various conditions such as pressures, temperatures, hours of operation, fuel consumed, water levels, and monitors gauges.
Performs minor maintenance on equipment, including but not limited to, dehydrators, fluid separating equipment, valves, pumps, etc. Performing minor maintenance on the equipment and system may also include, but is not limited to:
Monitoring, removing, and replacing filters, oil, chemicals, and other lubricating fluids as needed.
Remove and replace gaskets as needed.
Remove and replace valves if necessary.
Install plugs as necessary.
Change gauges.
Maintain sites in clean condition including picking up trash, taking out trash, controlling weeds, minor painting, etc.
Clean out sight glasses as necessary.
Change out suction/discharge valves on compressors.
Change out light bulbs or fuses.
Continually meeting the demands and improving upon the needs of our customers.
Establishes and maintains a near perfect driving record.
Directs and supervises contract labor involved in pipeline maintenance activities.
Collaborates well with direct supervisor on new and improved ideas associated with an always changing pipeline system.
