Schedule: M-F from 8AM - 5PM (some flexibility. One weekend per month will be on-call, that means be available in town in case its needed)
Qualifications:
Technical certification in Electricity, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related electrical field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cranes in industrial settings.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medium-voltage transformers, switchgears, and protection relays.
Strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid-state motor control systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Competency working with 480V, 3-phase motor control systems.
Expertise with PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives.
Basic mechanical experience with gear reducers, drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure crane and hoist reliability.

SUMMARY OF POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure the electrical reliability of the plant's utilities, overhead cranes, and hoists.
Participate in morning meetings to discuss and resolve utilities and crane-related issues.
Assist contractors when necessary, including availability for on-call support.
Develop appropriate PMs and SOPs for utilities and crane equipment.
Perform daily inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
Continuously seek improvements in processes, techniques, and safety practices.
Possess the skills to replace drives or PLCs (including downloading parameters and making basic programming changes) without assistance.
Setting and configuration of sensors and transmitters for, temperature, flow, pressure, distance, speed, etc.
Experience working on Medium-voltage transformers, switchgears and protection relays is required.
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Use SAP and E-Merge/Sphera systems to maintain critical spare parts in the storeroom.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, and manuals for utilities, cranes, and hoists.
Participate in root cause analysis and ABC meetings to identify and resolve issues affecting critical cranes.
Coordinate effective repairs and maintenance of facility crane equipment using SAP.
Responsible for daily and regulatory crane inspections and periodic load testing for all plant cranes.
Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.

What can you expect?
As the Industrial Program Services Lead Technician, you will work in Arizona and will perform and oversee mechanical and vulcanized conveyor belt splicing, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance across mining, industrial, and construction environments. You will lead small crews in field activities, execute complex splice and rubber handling work with minimal supervision, and troubleshoot advanced system failures. You will train junior technicians, ensure safety and quality compliance, coordinate work plans and resource needs with the General Foreman, and professionally represent the company with clients to ensure reliable service delivery and strong crew performance.
How will you do it?
Lead small crews during conveyor belt installation, repair, and shutdown projects.
Execute complex vulcanizing, pulley lagging, and rubber lining applications with minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot advanced system failures and recommend corrective actions.
Perform belt tracking, tensioning, splice fabrication, alignment corrections, and general system adjustments.
Conduct inspections and identify issues related to damage, mistracking, and splice condition.
Support installation and replacement of pulleys, idlers, scrapers, and chute components.
Follow MSHA/OSHA requirements, site-specific safety rules, and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Complete job hazard analyses, field-level risk assessments, and pre-task briefings.
Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including splice reports, cure logs, measurement sheets, photos, and technical records.
Communicate job progress, issues, and equipment needs with supervisors and clients.
Train and coach junior technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with the General Foreman to plan job scope, manpower, and material requirements.
Represent the company professionally with clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities; however, this is a lead position and includes the occasional role of mentor, coach, and training other team members.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Advanced knowledge of vulcanized and mechanical belt splicing methods
* Advanced technical knowledge of vulcanizing, lagging, and rubber lining.
* Understanding of conveyor system components (pulleys, idlers, scrapers, chutes, lagging, rubber lining)
* Knowledge of belt fabrics, carcass types, cover grades, and splice designs
* Ability to interpret belt specifications, splice instructions, and technical drawings
* Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety regulations, site rules, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements
* Familiarity with mine, industrial, and construction work environments
* Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for conveyor failures, mistracking, and system wear
* Basic operational knowledge of equipment such as forklifts, generators, trucks, and trailers
* Skilled in mechanical and vulcanized splicing and rubber repair
* Proficient use of hand and power tools (grinders, buffers, cutters, press systems, etc.)

Who is Brice Equipment LLC looking for?
Minimum Qualifications:

This is a site-based role requiring regular presence at client facilities in mining, oil & gas, or industrial settings both indoor and outdoor at times. Required Education | Experience
Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently
Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot: an automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
