Our department focuses on embedded electronics, electrical and RF technologies for a wide variety of national security missions in the Transportation Safety and Security Programs (TSSP). About Our Team The Communications and Electrical Systems Technology Department is responsible for the development and integration of command, control, and communication technologies used in specialized transportation security systems. The department conducts research and development activities in the areas of high consequence software systems, custom embedded circuit design, wireless network communications, intelligent power conditioning and distribution, navigation systems, and sensors. Major programs supported by the department include the Safeguards Transporter (SGT), development of a new high security system called the Mobile Guardian Transporter (MGT) and an advanced concept surety programs called Integrated Surety Architectures (ISA). Robust security protection for transportation systems face many unique challenges, and requires exhaustive investigation and analysis of sophisticated system attacks and the associated development of countermeasures to defend and protect against such attacks. The use of modeling and simulation tools assists in the investigation, exploration, and development of new design approaches, algorithms, and design of experiments to validate system capabilities. Within our 600-person Roswell manufacturing facility, we are seeking Utility Technicians to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels! We Ask of You to: * Maintenance and operation of steam generation, refrigeration, compressed air systems, water treatment, fire systems and HVAC including subsystems contained in each area. * Comply to regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, PSM, NMDA, EPA, OSHA, NMED, SQF etc. * Be able to attend training sessions and schools, whether onsite or traveling within the U.S. * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices at all times, including good housekeeping. * Perform basic mathematical functions. * Read and comprehend procedures and manuals. * Communicate well between production department, other maintenance technicians and department management. * Problem-solve and trouble shoot equipment. * Work in high noise areas and extreme temperature changes. * Work safely with hazardous chemicals and wear personal protective equipment as required. * Be willing to support a 24/7 operation by being available to work weekends and holidays. Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Must have high school diploma or GED * Must be willing to work nights, days, holidays, weekends and rotating shifts. * Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., climb stairs, vertical ladders and inclined ladders, work with arms fully extended in front of body and above head. Must also be able to squat, kneel, crawl, lie on back and stomach, work in environments with varying degrees of temperature, work around chemical fumes, work in tight spaces and around sharp edges and work with hammering and impact tools. * Must be able to differentiate colors and smells. * Must be able to wear and work wearing APR,SCBA and/or PPE * Must be able to work comfortably at different heights and enter confined spaces Leprino Foods Company is an equal opportunity employer who supports a drug-free workplace.
