Katoen Natie's Maintenance Technician must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for repairs, preventative and scheduled maintenance of equipment and machinery. REQUIREMENTS Higher technical education (minimum 2-3 years) or relative work experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language. Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55lbs. Perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and scheduled maintenance on equipment to ensure packaging levels are maintained as per KTN Management. Report on consumption of spare parts and supplies informing the Maintenance Manager when inventory levels are low. Own and maintain basic set of hand tools. Read and interpret electrical diagrams. A willingness to finish the repair until the problem is solved. Pride in the work being performed. Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.
