Maintain strict compliance with national and agency-level policies, reporting, and training requirements. Conduct Comprehensive IPMS Monitoring and Analysis: Perform daily tactical and strategic analysis using procedure guides, and execute daily, monthly, and annual operations and maintenance tasks. This includes identifying and troubleshooting system malfunctions, and reporting findings and status to customers. Resolve IPMS Anomalies and Report System Health: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the garrison IPMS, coordinating the resolution of IPMS anomalies with TSCM personnel. Detail all resolved signals in monthly and quarterly reports, and report IPMS console health status when operational capability is diminished. Advance IPMS Capabilities and Best Practices: Research and investigate new or improved industry practices and tradecraft for application to agency IPMS programs and operations. Assist in identifying and implementing best practices related to IPMS and wireless efforts. Perform Radio Frequency (RF) Signal Analysis: Conduct RF signal of interest searches and accurately assess and locate signals discovered during surveys, system notifications, and IPMS operations. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of writing and editing of technical documents. Experience with RF theory and direction finding. Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification Must complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year.     Light Show Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and take down of one of NOVA Parks' three holiday light shows. Work mainly from September to mid-February Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Major Duties/Specific Tasks Perform basic electrical and wiring tasks including converting and/or refurbishing light show displays. Repair damaged light show displays, including minor welding repairs. Organize and maintain inventory of supplies. Assess condition of displays and equipment; make recommendations for repair or replacement. Design and fabricate new displays as directed. Assist full time staff to ensure efficient and safe installation and take down of displays and features as directed. Operate man lifts and forklift during installation and take down. Test, troubleshoot, and repair displays during installation. Ensure displays and features are organized and in good condition during take down. Work closely with the high tree contractor. Turn on and turn off show during operating season. Troubleshoot and repair displays and features during operating season. Make minor repairs and perform maintenance on basic power grid as needed. Assist with public service needs as directed. Clean and organize storage areas and work area, dispose of debris, and perform other work area housekeeping duties. Apply paint/stain on both exterior and interior sites. Assist with horticultural tasks associated with the light show and other jobs as needed. Run errands to deliver or pick up materials. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school. Manual work with strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions in outdoor and maintenance shop settings; and will perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions, lift and move items equal to or greater than 80 pounds, climb ladders, use various hand tools, and operate various mechanical equipment. Working knowledge of the methods and materials used in conjunction with an annual special event. Working knowledge of electrical systems and temporary electrical distribution set ups with ability to make repairs and provide safe operation of displays and distribution equipment.
