    We're searching for relay testing technicians, transformer specialists, substation technicians and also NETA certified technicians on projects across the US. We have a new data center project in Reno NV that we're hiring full time technicians on. This is a full time opportunity to be part of a supportive team who promote from within, for a company who have an extensive pipeline of projects. In order to be considered you must have experience on high voltage projects, and have experience working with either electrical testing or transformer maintenance. NETA or NICET certifications are heavily preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: Relay Testing: Perform routine and special testing of protective relays and associated equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with industry standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with relay systems, including malfunctioning devices and communication failures. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and calibration of relay testing equipment and tools. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of testing results, maintenance activities, and equipment conditions. Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory compliance. Installation Support: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new relay systems and upgrades in substations. Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers, operations staff, and other technicians to ensure effective and safe relay operations. Training: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and staff on relay testing procedures and safety protocols. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the team. Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field is a plus, but real world project experience on high voltage, NETA projects is heavily preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience in relay testing and maintenance in a substation, data center or power systems environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in using relay test equipment and software; strong understanding of electrical principles, relay logic, and power systems.
