Job Responsibilities:
Perform and maintain preventative maintenance of all process plant and utility plant equipment as directed by supervisor
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant refrigeration systems
Enforces OSHA and EPA regulations work standards
Responsible for supporting continuous improvement of food safety and quality
& OSHA Safety
Follow all GMP and PPE procedures per Taylor Farms requirements
Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: pumps, pipes, electric components, tanks and vessels and pipe welding, heat exchangers, building and grounds, and other various equipment/items
Complete PM's on equipment
Use preventative maintenance software programs as needed
Maintain plant facilities by practicing effective housekeeping procedures
Maintain a team environment with all other employees and departments while providing a high level of customer service and a friendly atmosphere
Adhere to all applicable government work standards
Follow all policies and procedures set forth to promote quality and food safety and report any food safety and quality concerns.
Responsible for following all policies and procedures established to implement, maintain and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 system

About the Role:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
No weekends required
Overtime available but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Work Focus: Routine maintenance, diagnostics, general repairs (basic to major), and performance upgrades-from mild to wild
Work Environment: Clean, climate-controlled shop - warm in the winter, cool in the summer
Tools & Equipment: Access to the latest factory and aftermarket diagnostic and testing equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel and/or gas engines
Perform routine services, including oil changes, brake work, front end components, tires and engine and transmission replacement and/or wiring
Run and interpret diagnostic tests using advanced diagnostic equipment
Write detailed inspection reports and develop clear repair plans
Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure efficient and accurate repairs
Stay current with industry's best practices and manufacturer updates through training

Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Technician in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Inspect and test incoming assets to evaluate system condition and document all deficiencies.
Operate, troubleshoot, upgrade, and perform diagnostics, recommend repairs, and perform repairs (upon approval).
Identify and document failed components and replace failed components as part of the repair process.
Conduct teardown, installation, configuration management, final assembly, and verification testing.
Perform mechanical, electrical, software regression, pre-installation test and checkout (PITCO).
Prepare, update, and submit reports as required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of High school diploma or GED;
10+ years' experience working with EHF and SHF MILSATCOM systems, to include baseband equipment.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency working with Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and Super High Frequency (SHF) satellite communications systems and associated baseband equipment to include modulators/demodulators (modems), integrated receiver decoders, and communications security (COMSEC) devices.
Complete knowledge of requirements to maintain a COMSEC Local Element account to include issue, inventory, and destruction.
Strong technical communication skills.
The nature of this position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
The primary location for performance of the work will be Newport, RI occasional travel.
