What You'll Do:

The Fiber Construction Technician performs the general labor associated with outside plant construction for PON/fiber optic networks. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the installation of communications facilities (both buried and aerial). Training:
As a Fiber Construction Technician, you will have the opportunity to obtain a Class A CDL through our in-house training program. You will attend safety training at one of our new facilities where you will also be trained on Pole Climbing and Bucket Trucks. On-the-job training includes exposure to various construction equipment including Directional Drill Rigs, Mini Excavators, Trenchers, and Locators. Fiber optic training includes Fusion Splicing, Fault Detection, and exposure to OTDRs and other advanced testing equipment.
The duration of training varies based on the team assignment. Training for underground teams is 3 weeks, with an additional 1 week required for aerial training. Depending on factors such as market needs, prior skills, and team size, some individuals may only complete underground training, while others may undergo the full 4-week program, including aerial training.

Washes hospital owned dust mops.
Housekeeping/Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of carpet shampoo extractor, rotating shampooer, auto floor scrubber, wet/dry machine.
Operation of equipment as well as procedures involved in using them.
Infection control practices with regards to cleaning patient's rooms and hospital. Project management as it relates to floor care.

Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Maintain a service van and its inventory.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
* Less than 2 years related experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
* Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
* Industry related training is preferred
* Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
Compensation and Benefits:

* Competitive Wages. The anticipated starting pay range for the position is $23 to $28 per hour; however, skills and related experience will be taken into consideration,

Job Duties
As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you'll perform a wide range of services and duties in our Automotive Service Center.
This can include, but is not limited to:
Excellent customer service
Repair and install tires
Balance wheels
Install batteries, head lamps and other basic automotive parts
Perform oil changes
Brake system repair
Repair starting and charging systems
Steering and Suspension
Shock/strut installation
Alignments
Installation of trailer hitches and wiring
Other duties assigned with progressive on the job training
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must have great communication skills
Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior auto repair experience is preferred
Prior retail experience preferred
*Michigan Stores Only* ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II and ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III OR equivalent Michigan certifications.
