ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but not limited to:
Assist in selection and procurement of electrical components including BOM generation and maintenance.
Item Master generations and maintenance (MRP system).
Controls system panel builds.
Redlines and revisions of machine schematics.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging new equipment.
Assist in execution of qualification plans.
Assist Production with equipment installation including training on controls systems.
Assist in the generation of machine manuals
Where applicable, trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Completion of a two year degree in a related field. And minimum of five years of related experience or training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
General knowledge of circuits, electrical components and electrical systems.
General knowledge of electro mechanical devices and pneumatic circuits.
Basic knowledge of trouble shooting electrical systems.
Strong computer skills in PC based applications such as MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel and Statistical Soft-ware.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to read analyze and interpret electrical schematics.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, and customers.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms and quadratic equations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of NEC code and NFPA79 standard is preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

The Ecological Monitoring Technicians will be part of The Nature Conservancy's Central Minnesota stewardship team and will collect ecological monitoring data that will be used to evaluate and adjust land management efforts. Data from monitoring protocols will be analyzed to determine broad changes in the condition of native grasslands in response to grazing, restoration, prescribed fire, and other land management techniques. Data will also contribute to a coordinated effort to compare management practices across land ownership types throughout the northern tallgrass prairie region. Travel to other work areas across the state may be required, and suitable housing will be provided on such occasions.
