Vaco is hiring Desktop Technicians to support a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade and hardware refresh project. This project will cover several healthcare facilities. Technicians will perform device imaging, hardware deployment, and application setup. Local candidates are preferred to minimize travel, but multiple locations are available. Responsibilities Unbox, tag, and image new devices using standard tools. Perform in-place Windows 11 upgrades and verify successful installations. Install and validate required software using SCCM or other approved tools. Deploy and configure new hardware for end users, ensuring logins, network connectivity, and application access. Document devices, activities, and completion status using provided templates. Follow daily direction from facility leaders and coordinate with the Vaco support team. About the Role The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of injection molding, manual and automated assembly equipment and building/facilities maintenance. They have diagnostic skills and the ability to work with outside vendors to solve any issue that comes up. Maintaining support equipment as well as some facilities maintenance. May require some travel. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. SUMMARY Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, circuitry, pneumatic and hydraulic issues when and where required. Performing inspections, changeovers and PM's on all production equipment related to the injection molding department. Utilize line diagrams, schematics and troubleshooting matrix's as well as updated line diagrams and schematics when changes are made. Perform a wide range of work necessary to install, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment processes and structures in Injection Molding facility. Receive daily assignments and work with minimum supervision. Maintain a neat and orderly work area and clean up after job is complete. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems Proficient in reading and interpreting equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Preventative maintenance on machines. This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets. You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal. Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls. Job DescriptionDescription: OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN Department: Grain Operations Supervises: NA Reports to: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt This employee will conduct daily maintenance of the buildings and equipment at the facility. Manages the flow of grain dumped into the elevator and loaded out into trucks (and rail cars in some sites). Monitors grain in storage and maintains condition with aeration or turning to keep grain in good condition. At times, oversees the weighing and grading of grain before it is dumped into the grain elevator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all duties in a safe environmentally compliant manner. Demonstrates ability to work in a safety-conscious environment and follow all applicable safety and environmental regulations. Ensures that grain facilities are well maintained by adhering to a strict maintenance schedule. Follow established policies and procedures, along with proper communication when operating grain handling equipment. Repairs and rebuilds equipment to maintain its integrity and ensure its longevity. Cleans and prepares storage facilities including but not limited to grain bins and ground piles. If employed at a rail loading facility, this employee is responsible for loading trains when shipping grain to a customer facility. Inspects, tests, maintains and repairs telecommunication, intercommunication, call and signaling devices, and other related electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment by: * Testing telecommunications, intercommunications, call and signaling devices and audio-visual distribution systems, utilizing instruments, which includes oscilloscopes, multi-meters, test standards, frequency generators, counters and other unique test sets. * Evaluating and analyzing problem areas of assigned equipment, determining the cause using statistical analysis and data furnished by the manufacturer and other sources, making corrections, repairs or modifications, as appropriate, using accumulated knowledge. Also determining specific work methods and replacement parts to be used and whether service should be completed in the on site or at a commercial vendor's location by using cost information, as appropriate. * Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with manufacturer's recommendations, N.E.C., etc. * Maintaining records of all repairs accomplished, testing procedures completed, preventive maintenance and evaluation of equipment within BHS, updating service and technical information manuals and communicating with the manufacturers as required to obtain parts and supplies for the appropriate systems. * Keeping work areas orderly, clean and safe in addition to maintaining tools, test equipment and associated supplies. * Installing, repairing and conducting preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including telephone systems, intercommunication systems, nurse call systems and audio-visual equipment and other appropriate systems (e.g., paging systems, alarm systems and patient safety communication devices) and other equipment as assigned. Performs other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by: * Completing other job-related assignments and special projects as directed. Education and Experience * The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or an equivalent level of related education. Two years of formal education and training in the repair and maintenance of telecommunication and electronic equipment is required. A minimum of one to two years of experience in the repair and maintenance of telecommunication systems is required. Knowledge & Skills * Requires knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical devices and the workings of a telecommunication system. * Requires the analytical skills necessary to understand data input and retrieval, mechanical systems, electrical equipment, equipment and systems installation and to troubleshoot the assigned and associated systems. * Demonstrates the interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to interact effectively with physicians, patients, visitors, nurses, technologists, Hospital team members and vendors (for example, in order to gather data and understand problems with equipment). * Requires the ability to understand and comply with current Infection Control policies. * Demonstrates proficiency in basic computer skills (data entry, word processing and spreadsheets). A basic understanding of database applications is required. Working Conditions * Working conditions will vary from the Telecommunication repair shop to patient care areas, where isolation skills are required in dealing with communicable diseases. * High risk is involved in testing and repairing equipment where high voltage and lethal energy is present. * Requires the ability to work flexible hours. Hours may vary due to the importance of the telephone and intercommunication systems of the Hospital. Service on this type of equipment in an emergency situation may require work times other than during normally-scheduled working hours. Physical Demands * Requires the eye-hand and fine motor coordination to work with detailed electrical and electronic parts and systems. * Requires physical ability and stamina (i.e., to carry tools, parts, supplies, climb ladders, lift and move equipment etc.) to perform the essential functions of the position.
