Purpose & Impact:

Essential Functions:
Performs required maintenance and repair duties necessary to maintain assigned facilities and buildings by performing a variety of carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing repair and maintenance work; perform routine and emergency repairs and adjustments to buildings and facilities.
Install and repair a variety of electrical components including lights, wall outlets, and switches.
Repair and replace plumbing fixtures including faucets, fixtures, washers, and gaskets.
Perform carpentry work including the construction, installation, and repair of cabinets, partitions, bulletin boards, shelving, windows, doors, desks, chairs, and related items; install necessary hardware.
Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and facilities including changing air filters, repairing heating and air conditioning units, and perform minor concrete work including the repair of sidewalks.
Unlock and lock doors; turn off alarms; turn on lights and outside code pads; issue alarm codes to employees and provide training on alarm use.
Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set-up rooms for meetings and special events; ensure security of facilities including locking and unlocking doors.
Assist in maintaining supply inventory and ordering necessary supplies; receive and store materials and supplies; pick up supplies and equipment as necessary;
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance, repair, and replacement needs; report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards.
Perform custodial duties to maintain buildings and facilities in a clean and desirable condition as assigned; sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets; dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment; wash windows, mirrors and walls; clean desks and counter tops; empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures including mirrors, sinks, urinals, toilets, and partitions; replenish supplies in restrooms including filling soap and towel dispensers.
Clean light fixtures; replace lights, bulbs, and fluorescent tubes as necessary.
Perform work in adherence to safe work practices and procedures and in compliance with applicable standards.
Attends safety training and participates in staff meetings and in-services activities as directed.

Monitor FMV downlink equipment for nominal operations and report any anomalies to the designated team lead
Support user access and troubleshoot ViaSat KuSS and KaSS remotes, including configuring and maintaining satellite terminals and associated RF equipment
Prepare detailed reports on satellite network utilization, performance, and activity as required, using data analytics tools to interpret satellite network metrics
Open and track trouble tickets as required to resolve network or terminal issues
Isolate and correct network faults using network management tools (ViaSat SAM/NMS), including diagnosing issues with satellite links, transponders, and ground station equipment

This position is an operator qualified position with working experience in the use of fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures. The position may also be required to travel to various work locations based on SabCon Underground clients needs and deliver optimum customer service, operate mini excavator, HDD, other tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Ability to lead construction, maintenance, and repair projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations with minimal supervision from Foreman
Ability to assist the Foreman perform complex diagnostics and troubleshooting of gas systems and pipelines.
Ability to assist the Foreman with understanding and managing project schedules, resources, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Oversee and mentor junior and mid-level technicians
Act as the secondary point of contact for management and other stakeholders during projects
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, replacement or repair work as it relates to natural gas polyethylene piping.
Performs pipe fitting/connections and tie-ins for polyethylene pipe sizes predominately 2 and below.
Pipe joining techniques range from butt or socket fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupling.
Installation of EFVs & Valves
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks.
Pressure Test/Pigging PE Pipe
Understand the proper use and maintenance of fusion equipment and hand tools.
Frequently work around live gas systems and other utilities during hand digging functions to locate said utilities.
Exercise due care in protecting the utilities life and other property.
Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools for proper working order.
Able to perform rigorous physical labor such as using a shovel, erection of road signs, and use of pneumatic and engine driven equipment.
Capable of working on a team, receiving and following directions.
Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in natural gas infrastructure work.
Must be able to acquire operator qualifications to perform covered tasks as needed.
Understands OSHA competent person standards.
Provide GPS Points when required from customer
Testing and classifying soils
Sloping and shoring standards
Understands when to wear personnel protective equipment.
Works in trenches and bell holes.
Able to identify different types of materials used in natural gas infrastructure work.
Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
Does all other related work as required to complete the job.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5+ years in gas or pipeline construction, maintenance, or operations.
High school diploma or GED
Certifications: Leadership certifications, Operator Qualification (OQ) for advanced gas tasks, NACE, or API 1169.
Valid drivers license.
Commercial Drivers License is strongly preferred.
Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs..
Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position

The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
