This position directly contributes to the functionality, efficiency, and safety of specialized communication equipment used to serve and protect communities.Based at a local service center, the RF Technician will primarily support nearby service centers, with occasional travel required for operations, installations, and training across different regions. Note: This position is based in Moses Lake, Washington, with the majority of work focused on supporting the Moses Lake and Yakima service centers. While the primary responsibilities are local, it is recommended that the technician be prepared for short trips to support operations and training across Washington (e.g., Spokane and Lacey service centers) and the West Region as needed.Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Install, configure, and repair Radio Frequency equipment and systems Diagnose signal, interference, and hardware issues Perform testing, firmware updates, and system calibration Support emergency vehicle upfits and 12VDC installs Maintain documentation and service records Participate in on-call rotation after training Conduct site surveys and RF coverage tests Ensure FCC and safety compliance Assist with system upgrades and new deployments Travel as needed for field work and training Provide prompt, professional customer support Collaborate with team members and project staff Qualifications Relevant hands-on technical experience or associate's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field. Competence in reading technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system Preferred Skills Experience working with federal agencies or public safety organizations (e.g., police, fire, EMS, emergency management). Industry certifications - Such as ETA, FCC GROL, or other RF-related credentials. Advanced networking knowledge - Including VoIP, radio-over-IP systems, network integration and IP camera systems. Experience with field service software and reporting tools. Safety certifications or formal safety training. Maintenance Mechanic- $29.13-$31.21/hr POSITION OVERVIEW: * Provide maintenance service for all plant production and processing equipment to meet established production requirements. Responsible for maintenance of seasonal equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation. Ensures high quality and safety standards are met. * Demonstrates expertise with the maintenance requirement of plant processing, production and seasonal operations through a thorough and continuing evaluation of production, processing and seasonal requirements, techniques, procedures, facilities and equipment. * Maintains constant contact with production and processing operators and supervision to obtain maximum machine uptime. * Train other mechanics in the proper set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of production, processing and seasonal support equipment and supervise them to accomplish maintenance requirements. * Executes preventive maintenance programs and suggests modifications to the Plant Engineer for approval. * Recommends and initiates changes to improve equipment operating performance and performs job estimates. * Assures that maintenance operations are carried out within established housekeeping and sanitation procedures, and applicable government regulations. * Participates in all regular meetings as scheduled. * Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: * Demonstrated ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment. * Strong troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to other maintenance supervisors technicians, and operators. * Cross-functional demonstrated skills in Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, motion control, and mechanical systems. * Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma a plus. * Proactive and able to work independently * Able to work all shifts in a 24x 7 operation MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance and repair is required, specifically within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
