Main Responsibilities:
• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
• Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner

Qualifications:
• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician must possess a variety of skills encompassing many of the construction trades. Maintenance Technicians may paint one day, fix a leaking faucet the next, and then assess a roof leak later in the day. Maintenance Technicians will spend most of their time evaluating, maintaining, and repairing building systems, infrastructure, and even some groundskeeping tasks. The job involves general upkeep, troubleshooting, repairs, performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance, and recordkeeping of performed tasks. Maintenance Technicians must always remain aware of their limitations and request the services of their supervisor, or a licensed professional when they lack expertise, or local ordinances require it.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Duties are performed on campus and off-site as needed. Working effectively and collaboratively in a team environment is a must. Working conditions are as follows:
Working indoors and outdoors is required. When working outdoors, may be subject to inclement weather. The work may be strenuous at times and may include lifting heavy objects, and standing, stooping, and kneeling for long periods. Risks include injury from falls, burns, cuts, and exposure to inclement weather. Workers must follow strict safety procedures to avoid injuries.
This is a non-exempt, full-time, regular position. Anticipated schedule is 40 hours per week. The standard schedule for this position will be Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Schedule may vary depending on department needs. Overtime may be required as necessary.
WAGE RANGE: $21 - $23 Per Hour

As a Journeyman Shop Technician, you will work on construction and forestry equipment in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to support our customers and maximize their uptime. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the hotel's physical plant and equipment. This role ensures that all systems and equipment function efficiently and that the property remains in optimal condition, meeting safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Safety & Preventative Maintenance (50%):
Conduct routine preventive maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, hotel equipment, and carpet care as scheduled under the direction of the Supervisor or Maintenance Manager
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by the supervisor
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, and other basic repairs to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard
Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures as needed
