About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you. You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day. You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day. You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day. The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you. You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial) You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided. INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN | KAIYUH SERVICES, LLC Type of Position: Full-Time, Regular Tier: I Schedule: Varies FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Project Manager The Instrument Technician installs, repairs, and adjusts indicating, recording, telemetering, and controlling instruments used to measure and control variables, such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force and chemical composition, using hand tools and precision instruments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Disassembles malfunctioning instruments * Examines and tests mechanism and circuitry for defects * Troubleshoots equipment in or out of control system and replaces or repairs defective parts. * Reassembles instrument and tests assembly for conformance with specifications, using instruments, such as potentiometer, resistance bridge, manometer, and pressure gauge. * Inspects instruments periodically and makes minor calibration adjustments to insure functioning within specified standards. * May adjust and repair final control mechanisms, such as automatically controlled valves or positioners, and may calibrate instruments according to established standards. * Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver's license * A minimum of two years of experience in an industrial instrument maintenance setting, or completion of an apprenticeship program or technical trade school. * Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Good planning and organizational skills. * Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn. * Promptness and timeliness in completing assigned tasks. PREFERRED * ISA Certified or the ability to obtain an ISA certification in a timely manner. * College degree in the electrical or instrumentation field.
