1979 : Technogenia was founded by Guy Maybon, an ESC engineer, in Seynod, France

1981

1981 : Beginning of fused tungsten carbide production using high-temperature induction furnace synthesis at 2,750°C.

1983

1983: Beginning research of ‘Cold Crucible’ Tungsten Carbide fusion with electromagnetic levitation.

1990

1990: Beginning research on Carbide deposition using high power laser.

2000

2000 : Research on diode lasers: European Craft Project No.

2004

2004 : Research on special deposits: carbide and diamond deposits using laser technology, European Craft Project No.

2008

2008: Opening of the first US laser cladding facility in Conroe, TX

2009

2009: Introduction of LaserCarb® ID an internal Laser cladding process

2011

2011: Second US facility opened in Oklahoma City, OK

2019

2019 : Acquisition of Carbure du Chéran (France) sintered tungsten carbide manufacturer.
