The Opportunity"The Senior Technical Architect will be an integral part of the technical team responsible for implementation of FICO Solutions comprised of FICO products and customized frameworks. He/She will be responsible for the overall design and architecture of the platform solutions for on-premise and AWS implementations. He/She will need to partner with a variety of IT and business teams to oversee, define, and implement the set of solutions and integrations required for platform implementations. This position requires background in SaaS and application architecture, hands-on implementation experience, and a track record of successful solution delivery. Experience in a broad set of technologies is important, including SaaS, web and enterprise applications".Remote opportunity!!What You'll ContributeProviding technical leadership on FICO Professional Services projects Providing sales support when needed to the FICO sales team Providing estimates for the development and delivery of solutions Responsible for the successful integration of the state-of-the-art predictive software products from FICO designed for a variety of markets.Provides technical leadership on implementation projects and performs detailed technical tasks at client sites Provides specialized technical training and provides support services for FICO software solutions. This includes remote and on-site client training clients on maintaining the solutions, and updating internal documentation on client environments.Responsible for advising and guiding customers in integrating FICO software solutions with existing customer computer systems and, in selected engagements, actively participating in the integration of FICOproducts by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting interfacing software.Responsible for advising and guiding customers on custom developed high-availability solutions.What We're SeekingShould have a BS degree in engineering, computer science, or a scientific-related field.Must have management consulting experience. IT solution design experience of complex, large-scale, and strategic projects. Experience of software architecture, ideally working for a dynamic system integrator / value-add partner / solution provider in an external customer-focused environment Detailed knowledge of software architecture principles and methodologies.Be customer focused - able to present technical information and concepts to non-technical people Experience in team management. As a Technical Architect, you are one of the key contributors to the value our clients receive from their investments in PTC software and services. You will quickly become a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them implement proven, configurable solutions in both Cloud and on-premise environments. You will leverage your domain expertise along with industry best practices to guide your clients to a powerful, smart, connected solution that accelerates time to value.

Your Team:
As a Technical Architect, you will be a key stakeholder in the project team. You will work with:
A PTC Project/Program manager and his/her client counterpart to establish timeframes, schedules, deliverables, and the cadence of the project. PTC or partner architects to design, implement and validate solutions which are deployed in private and/or public cloud infrastructures. PTC or partner Consultants and Developers to configure, customize, perform data migration and integrations leveraging the core software and framework in a fashion that most completely satisfies the client's requirements. Client business representatives to deeply understand the required solution functionality necessary to fully satisfy their business requirements. Client IT/IS representatives to ensure that the proposed solution follows their established environment, configuration, deployment, and hosting standards. Client executive personnel to ensure that overall program goals are in alignment with the client's high-level business objectives. PTC executive personnel to ensure that the program is progressing along a satisfactory path that delivers maximum client value. PTC Business Development leads to identify future opportunities for expansion and business value.

The pace of your day is faster than average, and abounding with opportunities for both learning and leadership. During the course of a typical project, you will become your client's trusted advisor, helping them realize value from technology and process improvements brought about through the implementation of PTC solutions. You will have ample opportunity to provide direction and delegation to a team of outstanding contributors, all the while retaining ownership and accountability for client success. Another important component of your week is industrializing lessons learned in the field into training materials and job aids for the community of consultants.


Skills:

A Technical Architect has a unique role in our organization, helping to bridge the gap between customers technical requirements and our solution offerings leveraging a hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, Private). Essential skills for success are:

The ability to visualize complex issues and build that vision in the minds of a varied community of stakeholders. The ability to communicate across communities, articulating value at both a high level and detailed level simultaneously. The ability to understand requirements and boundaries, guiding a diverse community of stakeholders toward a sound, achievable solution. The ability to balance both Analytic and Creative problem solving. Architects must leverage both scientific methodological exactness and intuition-driven creative problem solving. Knowledge of Cloud based Infrastructure and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Experience in software development (JAVA, JSP, XML, Ant).



Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of consulting/implementing/deploying/supporting PLM or IoT systems. Availability for overnight travel (25% - 50%) Residency status that provides eligibility to work on Government and/or Defense projects. Willingness to pursue a security clearance for Government and/or Defense projects.
Nice to Have Qualifications:

Direct Experience with:
Windchill 10.x-11.x software administration, Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), Windchill Upgrades. AWS/MSTF architect certifications and/or experience. Residency status that provides eligibility to work on Government and/or Defense projects.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the Consultant, Principal to start at a minimum annual salary of $97,000.00 The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or payment of any relocation expenses that might be incurred. Also, every PTC employee also has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder, both through its stock grant programs or its employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase PTC stock at a discount.
