Key Responsibilities: Personnel Security Processing: Initiates background investigations. Manages receipt of security documents submitted from contractor applicants. Conducts fingerprinting procedures. Prepares, submits, monitors, and updates computer tracking systems concerning appropriate case material. Applies incident management, problem-solving, and task performance. Reviews investigative forms for completeness, accuracy, and correct type of investigation needed. Follow up with requesting or investigating offices to fill gaps in needed information. Industrial Security Program Support: Prepares, formulates, and develops DHS-wide policies, standards, and procedures for the implementation and management of the DHS Industrial Security Program. Advises top-level DHS officials and subject matter managers on developments and advances in personnel, contract, and industrial security programs. Conducts security surveys, inspections and compliance reviews in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Presidential Directives, Executive Orders, interagency directives, and DHS and component policies. Develops, implements, and oversees policies for the management and administration of programs and personnel governed by Executive Order 12829, National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Other assigned duties. Help Desk and Administrative Support: Receives telephone calls and responds to incoming e-mail messages on "Customer Service" web address. Assists facility manager and other team members to ensure necessary tools and equipment are available as required to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. • Utilize site CMMS system to create and/or update service tickets related to maintenance and repairs and record critical facility issues and related alerts. • Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. • Respond to out-of-hours emergency calls. • Perform all operations and maintenance protocols meeting safety, maintenance, and operations standards including but not limited to established OSHA, ASHRAE, NETA, NEC, NFPA and Equipment OEM standards. • Must be hands on and walk site to observe, respond and direct teams as appropriate. • Capable to lift and/or move up to 39 pounds independently and/or assist others in lifts over 40 pounds. • Capability to assist associate technical teams with physical, lifting, moving, adjusting, climbing, crouching etc. in the performance of maintenance and repairs. Qualifications: • 10+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment, commercial utilities Plant operations or 6+ years equivalent Technical (Military/Trade School) training and/or experience • 8+ years of experience with advanced understanding of the electrical or mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as: Utility feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, power distribution, UPS systems, ATS units. PDU units, HVAC Chillers, pumps, air handling units and CRAC units and rooftop HVAC systems. • 8+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving, reading and understanding schematics and building drawings • High School Diploma or Equivalent GED. • Virginia State Certification Master Mechanical/HVAC with CFC recovery certification • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe and other basic administrative tools. Computed Tomographer (CT) Technologist - Southampton Memorial Hospital Hours: PRN (as needed) Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The CT Technologist applies the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of CT scanning equipment in a way that provides direct patient care in a compassionate and timely manner. The CT Technologist assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic CT scans. Licensing/Certification BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required) Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required) Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 2 years) State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed) Education Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferred) Work Experience 1 year of experience as CT or Rad Tech (preferred) Training EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred) Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred) Essential Job Functions • Assures the quality of all images and confirms that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct. • Performs computed tomography procedures. • Performs timeout as required per policy. • Properly positions patients on CT scanning cradles and properly immobilizes patients with appropriate devices to obtain desired position. • Makes radiation exposures by energizing scanner per physician request and patient history. • Performs intravenous injections and demonstrates a knowledge of use and care of existing IVs, administers oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contracts agents specific to procedures. • Assists the radiologist with biopsies, drainage procedures, etc. utilizing sterile techniques, exhibiting safe and effective use of all contrast and radiation materials. • Maintains a working knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS. • Participates in on call rotation as required.
