Role Description

We seek a Manager of Electrolyte Development to manage the discovery and development of the electrolyte component of Form Energy's long-duration energy storage system. The Electrolyte Development team you lead will be responsible for defining high performance electrolyte constituents that are durable and compatible with all other cell components; that can be produced at scale, cost, and quality; and which have performance-based specifications that can be leveraged by our Supply Chain team to achieve industry-leading cost structures. Reporting into the Senior Manager of Cell Performance, you will use both your technical and managerial experience to lead a dynamic team that solves hard and, at times, open ended technical problems with rigor and creativity.
What You'll DoManage and grow a world-class team of scientists responsible for the discovery and development of promising new electrolyte constituents Lead the electrolyte development process and strategic planning for Form Energy's iron-air battery cell with intra- and cross-team coordination Develop and execute on a cost-down strategy for electrolyte Work closely within Performance and Integration and with Product Development to ensure electrolyte requirements and testing strategies capture new understanding

Here's the Gist:
Wolfspeed's RF Technology Development department is seeking a proven, hands-on RF Technology Development Manager to proactively lead a team of measurement and test engineers. To be successful, this person will be a driven, self-motivated leader who can lead their team in implementing and executing highly accurate, innovative, and impactful test methodologies to best evaluate and assess Wolfspeed's state-of-the-art, high-power RF technologies at the device, circuit and system level. This position is located at our site in Morgan Hill, CA.

The Day-to-Day:
Lead a team focused on providing highly accurate RF measurement and characterization results at the device, circuit and system levels.Develop and assess new and existing measurement methodologies to improve utility and effectiveness for evaluation of state-of-the-art, high-power RF devices and circuits.Develop and implement calibration and verification methods to ensure high levels of accuracy and repeatability in measurements.Establish measurement methodologies to optimize device characterization with respect to circuit evaluation, application requirements, and device performance.Provide assessment, visualization, and presentation of measurement results and clearly communicate the results to cross functional teammates.Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful and productive outcomes, including: Technology Development, Modeling, Product Development, Device Development, and Operations.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
A Bachelor's degree in EE or related field and 7+ years of experience in RF measurement and metrology. Less experience may be required with a graduate degree.Expertise and a history of success in high power RF device measurement and characterization, including: Active and Passive Loadpull, S-parameters, Pulsed I-V, Transient Measurements, CW and Modulated Measurements, EVM, ACPR, DPD, Noise Figure and Noise Parameters.Understanding of RF device behavior and how device performance impacts circuit level applications, including PA load line, Doherty PA operation, and saturated PA operation.Proficiency with test automation software development and utilization.People and/or project leadership experience.This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
