**In this role, you will:**

+ Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact

+ Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area

+ Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies

+ Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

+ Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls

+ Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

+ Lead Control Management project or virtual teams

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Verite Group, Inc. builds multi-disciplinary teams that provide novel end-to-end solutions to larger more complex data-driven initiatives that require the application of advanced analytics. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance with FS Poly

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency with software and databases to conduct research and develop targeting packages used by the U.S. Government
• Ability to manipulate and integrate multiple data sets and systems to derive results
• Familiarity with customer’s report writing standards
• Passion and success for solving difficult problems
• Outstanding critical thinking / logical reasoning
• Skilled writing and verbal proficiency, including visual representation of data/information using graphics and charts
• High degree of personal integrity
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through and manage individual projects and assignments
• Computer literate and analytically inclined

In this role, candidates will lead the management of risk for up to two Technology Executives by partnering with the leadership and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. Candidates will be responsible to solve problems analytically by applying a mixture of risk and technology expertise to perform impact assessments, identify root causes in support of the technology control activities, and drive risk reduction in the respective technology teams. They will be responsible to provide quality assurance in real-time at the task level to provide feedback and training as needed and monitor the health of audit issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation through Resolved by Line of Business review. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, candidates are required to drive collaboration with teammates across organizations (Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS etc.) and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk.
