As an Entertainment Technical Resource Manager, you will provide resource support for the Entertainment Technical projects and operations. You will also partner with the Entertainment Technical team on logistics for Crew shoreside training including but not limited to hotels, transportation, logistics and Shoreside Short Term Assignment requests as well as coordinating the movement and confirmation of equipment and props for DCL Entertainment and approved vendors.
This position reports to the Manager, Entertainment Technical Direction & Operations

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make a Difference

* Partner with multiple areas at Disney Cruise Line to ensure all show documentation has been collected and to coordinate logistics, movement and confirmation of equipment and props
* Review all Show and End of Cruise reports to gather technical issues that are trending and activate the appropriate partners to resolve issues early
* Action on and follow up with specific continuous improvement report in partnership with the Mgr Entertainment Technical Direction
* Will work closely with Entertainment Operations Area Manager to resolve which content is needed for the fleet in regards to Movie Premieres, Content for Crew TV, Films for Funnel Vision
* Connect with the distribution center for any entertainment questions, including handling the distribution and storage of any Entertainment Technical equipment purchased for special projects
* Complete all Walt Disney Theatre and Shipwide part submittals to AMOS for new show installs and special projects
* Review all entertainment purchase orders for accuracy, and to verify any needed AMOS updates have been completed
* Acquisition or rental of additional entertainment equipment as needed for special events both locally, and abroad
* Regular SAP WBS reporting to monitor Shoreside expense spending

Overview

The IT Services Department is looking for a Resource Manager to join Crestron's Information Technology team and help optimize staff scheduling and resource planning. This position will work with the various development and analyst teams to optimize assignments, track projects, and help team members with documentation and knowledge management. This role will be responsible for creating a resource allocation process and then managing staff allocations for projects and other activities. This role will serve as the administrator for Enterprise Application's knowledge management resources and coordinate the completion of project closure documentation. A successful candidate will have a familiarity with Enterprise IT organizations and optimizing staffing assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and maintain a resource allocation process.
  • Supporting Resource Management process against the Business priority list and ensure proper allocations are made.
  • Coordinate knowledge management and ensure the creation of appropriate documentation.
  • Create operations templates and related documentation.
  • Create reporting on staff utilization, assignments, and resource gaps.
  • Coordinate with HR on the management of active contractor and consultant contracts.
  • Coordinate with IT PMO to assign staff resources to PMO projects.
  • Create and maintain a skills matrix for employees.
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience in a Resource Management role within an IT landscape
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written skills are necessary.
  • Capable of running meetings with Senior level staff and obtaining buy-in when needed.
  • Must be organized and can digest and prioritize large volumes of information.
  • Must be comfortable being part of a dynamic organization where priorities can shift.
