Job Summary Process Operators perform duties related to maintaining the flow of ethanol production through its various processes. Process Operators rotate through four main work areas of operation which are process, driers, utilities and control room.The Process Operator will support all policies, goals and objectives of the company, and will represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.Essential Job Functions Learn and operate all processes associated with the plant. Learn and operate plant's DCS (computer control system). Learn and follow procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning and batching. Keep accurate and timely logs. Respond to collected data and make adjustment to optimize plant operation. Keep plant facilities clean. Keep operators coming on shift briefed on what has happened and what is supposed to be done during the next shift. Conduct quality control tests on product stream. Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems or issues with production. Complete any and all tasks assigned by management. Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs and policies and be directly responsible for managing safety and health performance. Job Description Maintain a safe swimming environment in the pool, on the deck and surrounding areas. Lifeguards are prepared to be first responder to all medical emergencies in the building in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state health department code. Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.
