Essential Functions:
· Under supervisor of maintenance department leadership and senior-level mechanics, diagnose, repair and maintain GFL's Diesel and CNG fleet.
· Complete basic inspection of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
· Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly.
· Perform standard electronic diagnostics and repair electrical equipment and hydraulic systems.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a **Principal OR Senior Principal Field Service Engineer - Network and Communications** to join our team at **RAAF Base Tindal in Australia** . This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization supporting MQ-4C Triton Program.
This position will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance support of the MQ-4C Triton network and communications systems at a Forward Operating Base (FOB).
**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
+ Provide real time support for flight operations and maintenance addressing any issues related to communications and networking to include fault isolation, remediation, and resolution.
+ Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications and data link systems in military flight test environment, including operations on a flightline, in a hangar, and in command-and-control centers.
+ Adhere to checklists and procedures to ensure repeated success and providing redlines to procedures when necessary
+ Communicate complex technical issues to local support, the Degrader Action Cell (DAC), Main Operation Bases (MOBs), and Responsible Engineers (REs).
+ Support and lead air crew engagement for proper techniques in solving complex analysis of technical problems that arise during operations.
+ Assist with trend analysis as needed for Responsible Engineers (REs).
+ Perform/support review and analysis of supplier design data and definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration.
+ Responsibility for the testing, maintenance, and integration of Comms and Networks equipment to include radio terminals, software loads, switches, routers, and firewalls required to support ground and flight test operations.
+ Work with system admins, maintainers, and onsite personnel to troubleshoot and repair any internal operational issues.
**The selected candidate will be put on a temporary Domestic Assignment and will report to our San Diego, CA site daily prior to international deployment while clearance(s), Visa(s), and other documents are processing. The employee will go through training in San Diego during this period. The expected timeline before deployment is 3-4 months but this will vary.**
Initially, this position will work a 9/80 shift **. As the program matures, the shifts may become 12-hour shifts that could include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.**

Compensation and General Information:$9.00/hour, directly deposited into a U.S. bank account10-20 hours/week; hours based on academic schedule and preferences Some night and weekend shifts will be scheduled Directly supervised by the Residence Life CoordinatorTimesheets and OU timesheets are approved by the OUA Residence Life CoordinatorManaged by additional staff as well, when on-shift Training/work begins during on-site arrival orientation at the beginning of the semester Responsibilities and Job Duties:Work at the front office/desk space Ensure the safety of the premises and patrons with security checks and canvasing of the nearby grounds Handle minor emergencies and report issues regarding crisis situations Attend organizational meetings related to the position Understand and assist with risk-prevention and emergency protocols and procedures at OUA facilities Assist with the enforcement of OUA regulations and procedures Complete facility maintenance tasks and cleaning when necessary (taking out trash and recycling, cleaning tables, loading and unloading dishes, mopping the kitchen, cleaning spills, tidying up areas as needed, etc.) Assist in gathering content and pictures for occasional social media posts or other outreach initiatives Gather and compile resources and revise informational materials in order to pertain to current semester Conduct daily security rounds Maintain filing systems, databases and records Answer questions and address student and visitor concerns Follow the procedures for misplaced keys and student lock-outs from their rooms Receive packages and mail at the RFC and distribute to the students Check guests in and out of the building Distribute laundry tokens Lead tours of the RFC, as needed Occasionally partner with local interns to complete projects Aid in preparing, distributing and administering OUA informational packets Assist professors in setting up, troubleshooting and managing classroom equipment Act as a receptionist at the Annex or the RFCOther duties as assigned Further Details:Interviews will be held via ZoomIf you are selected and accept the CA position, new hire paperwork and supporting documents must be submitted to Human Resources before your departure to ItalyTraining/Work begins during week of arrival for the semester program This position is located in Arezzo, ItalyItalian language not required Required Attachments (No Self-Identifying Photos):ResumeClass Schedule Job Requirements--- Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma as a sophomore or higher in good standing.
