TEDCO's Investment Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented part-time employee to work closely with our Portfolio Manager. We anticipate a schedule of no more than 20 hours per week. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture capital portfolio management, working with a diverse set of companies and utilizing industry-leading software platforms. This role will be responsible for monitoring portfolio company performance, creating insightful reports, and maintaining data integrity within our CRM (Salesforce) and portfolio monitoring system (Aumni).
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for portfolio companies, including revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, burn rate, and cash runway.
Monitor news and developments related to portfolio companies and their industries.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio review materials.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in Salesforce, including contact information, deal details, and investment terms.
Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Aumni, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Develop and maintain data validation rules to ensure data quality.
Reporting and Analysis:
Create and maintain dashboards in Salesforce and Aumni to track portfolio performance and identify trends.
Develop customized reports to support investment decision-making and investor reporting.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific questions about the portfolio.
Research and Support:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
Assist the Portfolio Manager with various administrative tasks as needed.
Assist with automating some of the reporting.
Other: Support the team with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with financial statements and key financial metrics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for venture capital and technology.
Familiarity with Aumni or similar portfolio-monitoring platforms, a plus.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Sr. Associate, Project Manager for the Finance Data Management and Governance (FDMG) team in the Enterprise Technology Services organization is pivotal in organizing key business processes across the organization, including project reporting, budget management, talent management & hiring, strategic messaging, communications, town halls, colleague engagement, and more. The candidate will be a key member of the FDMG organization Leadership Team, working closely and collaborating with all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management & Delivery
* Assist in the planning and execution of strategic and operational projects across business and technology functions.
* Develop project plans with defined milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
* Identify risks and dependencies; recommend mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Track project performance and maintain transparent reporting mechanisms.
* Maintain budget for entire FDMG team.
Operations & Planning Support:
* Support key operational cadences including staff meetings, town halls, and business reviews.
* Assist in quarterly and annual planning activities, including OKR development, resource tracking, and progress reporting.
* Coordinate meeting logistics, materials preparation, and follow-ups to ensure action items are completed.
* Communications & Stakeholder Coordination
* Partner with internal stakeholders to develop clear, effective communication materials including presentations, updates, and status reports.
* Facilitate information flow between project teams and leadership to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
* Promote consistency and clarity in execution across functional areas.
* Continuous Improvement
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and enhance project transparency.
* Recommend tools or frameworks that enhance project and team effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Business, Technology, or related areas.
* 3 - 6 years of experience in project management, operations, or program coordination.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience crafting executive-facing content.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint & Excel), SharePoint, Confluence, and OneDrive.
* PMP or related certification is a plus.

* Experience in creating engaging and informative presentations.

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
