KVUE-TV Austin, the TEGNA ABC station in Austin is looking for a highly skilled artistic Photojournalist who can create shareable and exciting content for television, social media and mobile. We want a photojournalist who can tell great stories on their own or with a team. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the latest photography, editing tools, and techniques. YOUR DAY-DAY:
Develop strong executive level client and agency relationships and sell TelevisaUnivision's various platforms.
Strong emphasis on relationship management between the client and station.
Develop client-specific pitches, attend client meetings, make presentations, and close sales.
Handle an active list and maintain and grow existing and new accounts.
Prospect, negotiate, and generate new leads, as well as qualify leads generated by support functions.
Attend promotional events and other client networking events.
Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale/post-sale processes
YOU HAVE:
Experience creating and managing social media content, including photos, videos, posts, and stories.
Skilled in developing creative content strategies that align with company goals, using current tools, trends, and analytics.
Candidate must have functional to advanced knowledge in the following technologies:
Avid editing systems and media management.
Adobe CC suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)
Professional camcorders and DSLRs (Canon, Panasonic and Sony).
Field production lighting, audio recording and gear.
Green screen and studio production environment.
News, VizRT and news gathering tools is a plus.
vCreative, Smartsheet or other workflow tools is a plus.
Knowledge in 3D animation with Cinema 4D is a plus
Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
PC and MAC computer skills.
