SUMMARY: This is general police work which involves the active involvement of Officers working with the community to identify potential problems and solutions to improve the quality of life in our community. Officers receive direction from the Chief of Police and carry our those assignments in accordance with established operating procedures, but at all times an officer must be able to act without direct supervision.
