Responsibilities: This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team. There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule. Keep work area clean. Maintain established quality standards per production requirements. Take and evaluate samples as required. Maintain operating conditions within the set run conditions. Maintain maximum line speeds and productivity of all machines assigned. Fill out all required production records accurately and completely. Other work as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor. Operation of the assigned equipment and any auxiliary equipment associated with the operation of the assigned area. Inform the crew leader/shift supervisor of any safety, mechanical, or operational problems. Document actions completely and accurately as required on receiving, QC, and assigned paperwork. Training/Relief Operator: Complete General Responsibilities. Relieve operators for breaks and assist with operational issues and changeovers as needed. Knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and solve most operational problems. Ability to communicate instructions and train employees as needed. Skills / Qualifications: Read and write notes on the production report. Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar, all communications must be in English. Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Hose Specifications according to batch cards and run conditions. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to drive a forklift. Physical Requirements: Handle machine parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 50 times per shift. Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner. Tolerate summer heat of 15 degrees above outside temperatures. Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar. Body agility to enable bending, stooping and lifting hose, tools and other items needed to perform the job. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 25 times per shift. Responsibilities: This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team. There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule. Perform required in-process and finished product testing per internal and customer specifications. Prepare test specimens using injection molding equipment. Evaluate, document and communicate any necessary adjustments to production material not meeting specification. Thoroughly document and place on quality hold any material not meeting specifications. Perform additional sampling, inspection or testing as specified by the Laboratory Manager or Technical Manager. Perform calibration verification and periodic maintenance on laboratory testing equipment. Maintain housekeeping in the laboratory and injection molding areas. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma/GED or satisfactory job performance for 1 year at TATN. Basic math and computer skills.
