What you'll be doing: Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments. Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs. Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems. Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required. Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required. Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures. Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment. Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications What we're looking for: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment. Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered. Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required. Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required. Lockout / Tagout experience is required Ability to work overtime as needed is required. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. This position is an essential part of Sherwin's manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support production requirements and goals. Equipment may include: dryers, chillers, thermal oxidizer, HVAC, fire pump, mixers, mills, filling line equipment, conveyors, wrappers, tanks, motors, pumps, tank washers, tank tipper, as well as dock and building maintenance, etc. This position performs various maintenance tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment. Summary of Job: Seeking entry level and experienced technicians, applicant will need to be able to diagnose residential plumbing issues/problems, which will include anything from faucets to drain clogs or conventional style water heaters and tank-less style as well. The technician must be able to do repairs as well as replacements of anything that has to do with the plumbing in any given residence. Technician should also be familiar with working any type/size drain machine to attempt to clean/clear any sized drain stoppage. Summary of Job: Seeking entry level and experienced technicians, applicant will need to be able to diagnose residential plumbing issues/problems, which will include anything from faucets to drain clogs or conventional style water heaters and tank-less style as well. Primary Objective Performs complex mechanical duties and a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair and/or distribution of electrical energy. Troubleshoot and replacement of invertors used plant wide. Leads the maintenance team in performing required PMs according to PM calendar. Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas. Follows ISO operating procedures. Completes maintenance work orders for all maintenance work completed. Maintains work order utilization at above 85% for G2 shift and 65% for shift mechanics. Performs other related duties as required. Follows ISO operating procedures and control plans.
