    This Client is seeking a Experienced Data Governance Analyst to support enterprise data governance initiatives for the LPP modernization program. This is a hands-on, execution‑focused role responsible for operationalizing data governance and metadata management within Informatica IDMC. This individual will function as a Expereinced data steward embedded within project teams, leading assigned governance workstreams while collaborating cross‑functionally with business and technical stakeholders. The role requires a high degree of independence and ownership but does not include people management. Key Responsibilities 1) Data Governance Execution (Primary Focus) -Perform hands‑on data governance and metadata management within Informatica IDMC, including: *Identification and documentation of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) *Importing and managing metadata in the enterprise data catalog *Creating, reviewing, and maintaining business glossary terms *Classifying and tagging sensitive and regulated data -Determine whether governance terms already exist and: *Link existing business terms to data assets where applicable *Create new terms and definitions when gaps are identified 2) Data Stewardship & Quality -Act as a Experienced data steward, working closely with project teams to: *Prioritize data attributes and fields within scope *Validate business definitions and rules with stakeholders -Conduct and interpret data profiling to assess data quality -Identify and support resolution of data quality and governance issues -Train and guide data stewards on core governance controls and best practices 3) Collaboration & Initiative Leadership -Lead data governance activities for assigned data domains or subject areas -Collaborate cross‑functionally with business, analytics, and technical teams -Participate in bi‑weekly sprint demos/checkpoints to: *Review progress *Validate newly created terms and metadata *Align on priorities and next steps -Support enterprise data governance standards, guidelines, and processes 4) Metadata, Cataloging & Lineage -Ensure enterprise data assets are properly cataloged, including: *Business definitions and data dictionaries *Data classifications and sensitivity labels *Conceptual and technical lineage -Partner with data creators and process owners to ensure data guidelines are reflected in upstream processes Tools & Technology Environment Primary: Informatica (IDMC / Data Governance & Catalog) Cloud Platform: Snowflake Work Management: Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar (Jira acceptable) Experience with other data catalog or governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Purview) is acceptable if Informatica experience is present Required Qualifications -5+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data management -Strong, hands‑on experience with: *Informatica (IDMC preferred) *Data catalogs, metadata management, and business glossaries Solid understanding of: Enterprise data governance frameworks and stewardship models Data quality concepts and critical data elements Data classification and regulatory considerations Familiarity with cloud data warehouse concepts (Snowflake preferred) Ability to work independently with minimal hand‑holding Strong communication skills and experience collaborating cross‑functionally Experience in financial services or other regulated environments strongly preferred Skills Data governance, Data Catalog, Data Stewardship, Data Quality, data profiling, Snowflake data warehousing Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tukwila, WA. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor, detect, identify, and alert on potential cyberattacks, intrusions, anomalous activity, and misuse events Analyze alerts and logs to distinguish malicious activity from normal system behavior Support protection of corporate and operational networks through continuous monitoring and analysis Analyze logs, packets, and security messages from various systems and applications Identify cyber threat tactics, techniques, and methods (TTPs) Identify, document, and help remediate gaps in the organization's cybersecurity posture Test systems for vulnerabilities and support vulnerability management initiatives Document and escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures Respond to urgent cybersecurity events and incidents, including after-hours support as needed Review incidents to determine root cause and operational impact Monitor external threats and hostile content directed toward organizational or partner interests Recommend procedural improvements to support strong cyber hygiene Prepare threat briefings, situational updates, and threat activity reports Track and report on adversarial activity across enterprise environments Environment & Technical Focus Corporate IT network supporting internet access, routing, security policies, and user access Operational Technology (OT) environments supporting building systems such as: HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems Access control and CCTV Building automation and scheduling systems Medium-sized, distributed campus environment with fiber-optic infrastructure Multiple building environments, each operating as an isolated network within a single domain Exposure to log collection, remote troubleshooting, and system monitoring across both IT and OT systems Education & Required Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity Experience with SIEM platforms, IDS, and IPS technologies Experience working with logs, network packets, and security event data Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Experience with vulnerability management and testing Experience with network packet analysis Experience with log analysis and log management Experience with cloud security management interfaces Experience with enterprise authentication systems (e.g., Active Directory, IAM platforms) Incident handling and response experience preferred Working knowledge of: Core cybersecurity concepts (CIA triad, encryption, risk management) Networking protocols and traffic flow Cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and threat hunting Cybersecurity laws and regulations Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK preferred Understanding of differences between IT and OT network environments Experience working on project teams; project management exposure preferred Intermediate understanding of threat intelligence research and methodologies Familiarity with adversarial TTPs
