    TekSystems is hiring a 3rd Shift Patient Registration Representative for a large healthcare system in Indianapolis, IN! -First person our patients see when they arrive. Main priority is to provide an exceptional patient experience with a warm, welcoming environment. -The ER is a 24-hour, 365-days a year facility and does not close. The schedule is a rotating 12-hour shift, up to 40 hours per week. Schedule example: ---Week A: Work Monday, Tuesday, half-day Friday, Saturday, Sunday ---Week B: Work Wednesday, Thursday, half-day Friday -Team members will be trained in all the following areas: ---Front Triage Desk: Check in patients who walk in through the main entrance. ---Ambulance Bay: Check in patients who come in by ambulance or helicopter. ---ER Floor: Register patients at the bedside with portable computers. Must confirm patient demographics and collect/verify all insurance information for accuracy. Ensure ID/Insurance cards and consents are updated in the EMR system. -Support self-pay process for patients without insurance coverage. Complete required documentation for Medicare patients prior to admissions, if needed.
