Job Brief:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented bookkeeper to become our full-time Accounting Specialist, an integral part of our day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our executive, procurement, and management teams to execute all daily tasks and deliverables. This position will be based on-site at our Northern Virginia office, approx. 10 minutes from Washington, D.C. by car. This is an on-site position with hybrid potential.
Responsibilities:
Full Charge Bookkeeper Functions: A/R, A/P, Bank Reconciliation & Credit Card Reconciliation
Process Monthly Payroll - Coordinate new hire paperwork and employee terminations.
Filing Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax Returns; Monthly, Quarterly, and Year End Reports and Financial Statements
Maintain Insurance Policies for Health Insurance, General Liability and Workers Comp by paying monthly premiums, managing audits, renewals and subcontractor compliance/W-9
Filing and maintenance of Business Licenses for corporate entities.
Maintain internal financial reports for Cash Flows and Earnings for (offsite) Firm CPA and upper-level management; Year-End Items (W-2's, 1099's, Record Retention)
Coordinate with and assist Procurement Team and project managers to establish pricing and place orders with vendors and suppliers; Assist in order tracking, project billing, and cost-management.
Coordinate with Procurement Team and project managers to ensure all orders are within project budget and, when discrepancies arise, find and implement solutions.
Maintain client accounts by preparing and maintaining client invoices, collection of payments, retainers, and depos.
Identify areas for improvement in existing business practices.
Manage office supply ordering and ordering of toiletry items.
Check Mail and Manage outgoing packages - UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL
Manage Employee Time Keeping (Paid Time Off/ Vacation Time/ Sick Time)
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
· Over 10 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience, ideally in an interior design or architecture studio
· CPA required; bachelor's degree preferred.
· Advanced proficiency level in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
· Strong work ethic, high integrity level and a “can-do” attitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Motivated self-starter who can execute deliverables independently just as well as collaboratively.

+ Experience with variable frequency drives and field instruments (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature, level, and analytical transmitters, valve positioners, valve actuators, and PID controllers).
+ Ability to read and understand electrical and instrumentation drawings and PLC ladder logic.
+ Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, solenoids, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
+ Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.

**Job Title: Pile Driver** **Job Description** As a Pile Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and placing templates for pile locations, supporting crane activities and pile deliveries, and ensuring daily inspections of tools and safety premises. You will also attend tool box talks, maintain a safe atmosphere, and keep the site clean and organized. Additionally, you will operate hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers with fixed or swinging leads to drive various types of piles, including concrete, sheet, H-pile, and pipe piles, as well as utilize vibratory hammers to drive sheet piling.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pick up and place templates for pile locations.
+ Support crane activities and pile deliveries.
+ Inspect tools and safety premises daily.
+ Attend tool box talks and maintain a safe atmosphere.
+ Keep site clean and organized.
+ Operate hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers to drive various types of piles.
+ Utilize vibratory hammers to drive sheet piling.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with concrete pilings.
+ Previous experience and understanding of the pile driving process and heavy equipment.
+ Ability to read and understand heavy construction plans.
+ Previous experience in a pile driving crew.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in carpentry and understanding of elevations is a plus.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with others.
+ Accustomed to working outdoors in all weather conditions.
