Key Responsibilities / Duties
▪ Receive, review, research, and analyze all new customer requests.
▪ Request new customer approval and manual codes from governing agencies for various company entities and maintain records of codes.
▪ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data system.
▪ Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
▪ Provide safety leadership and support in an assigned region.
▪ Provide support to field management (e.g. Regional Vice Presidents/Regional Directors, District Managers, etc.) in the administration of safety programs.
▪ Investigate any safety loss-related incidents and prepare detailed reports concerning matters investigated.
▪ Administers job safety program audits and inspects job site to detect and correct safety hazards.
▪ Work with outside agencies (e.g. federal, state and local law enforcement, OSHA, etc.) as necessary.
▪ Perform special projects at the direction of the workers compensation and safety managers.
▪ Assist in development and implementation of safety training program for all associates.
▪ Partner with management team to ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
▪ Develop partnerships with regional, district and national management to help maintain an effective knowledge of regional loss activities.
▪ Review reported incidents, prepare corrective action plans.
▪ Ensure timely entry, follow-up and completion regarding all cases.
▪ In partnership with risk management team, develop implement and monitor facility safety programs- employee safety and OSHA compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Ability to remember information (e.g. policies, procedures) or locate resources to find information as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field
2+ years of experience supporting EHS compliance and safety programs within a manufacturing environment
OSHA 30-hour, CPR/First Aid certification
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) certification preferred
Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and best practices.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

The Safety & Standards Waterfront Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Aramark's Foodservice Programs on the NNS Waterfront. This role is critical in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the effective management of Mobile Food Truck Vendor Partners and Stationary Canteen operations. The position serves as a key point of contact for operational needs related to occupational safety, food safety and sanitation, environmental compliance, employee training, and the execution of all Aramark safety processes and procedures
Job Responsibilities
Safety & Standards
Conduct regular safety and quality audits, providing actionable feedback to ensure high service standards.
Plan, organize, and deliver training programs that promote safe practices and working conditions across diverse environments.
Lead and participate in incident investigations, communicate findings, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Evaluate current processes, perform gap analyses, and recommend improvements.
Execute all required safety activities, including daily/weekly/monthly briefs, observations, FSQA checks, and training sessions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to address compliance gaps and meet contractual requirements.
Collaborate with Aramark Safety & Risk Solutions, Workplace Experience Leadership,Portfolio Operations, and client contacts to implement and enforce Aramark's SAFE Commitment.
Support location teams in meeting safety and standards requirements and assist with regional/district meetings and committee structures.
Vendor Partnerships
Communicate vendor-related concerns and special occurrences to the General Manager daily.
Proactively resolve vendor issues to minimize client involvement and disruptions.
Monitor Vendor Partners during designated meal periods, conducting and documenting at least 15 inspections weekly.
Assign monthly vendor schedules and communicate assignments clearly.
Manage vendor badging processes and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
Track vendor performance, including customer counts, safety concerns, and special occurrences; submit weekly logs to the General Manager.
Coordinate and follow up on all vendor service and project requests.
Ensure vendors adhere to service models, menu development standards, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with clients and vendors on site project planning.
Plans and executes quarterly Vendor Partner Meetings.
Conducts business reviews with each Vendor Partner twice per year, documenting conversations and expected outcomes.
Qualifications
2 - 4 years of professional experience in safety; experience with management systems or a Certified Safety Professional designation preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of safety best practices, including HACCP, OSHA 10 General Industry, and ServSafe certification.
Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Strong collaboration skills to ensure a unified food service experience across departments.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to safely operate an Aramark vehicle.
