As a Stock & Utility Associate you will be responsible for the proper receiving and storage of all food items and the cleaning and sanitizing of all dishes and pots. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Receiving and properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing all products with the labels visible.
Keeping the storeroom, freezer and walk-in coolers in a clean and orderly fashion at all times, including sweeping, mopping and cleaning shelves as needed.
Working in the walk-in freezer, coolers, and storeroom, consolidating products, breaking down boxes and removing all trash.
Communicating with the production staff to pull products needed each day for preparation.
Assisting with light food prep as necessary.
Delivering food carts to assigned areas.
Washing all dishes and pots and storing them properly.
Sweeping and mopping floors in the dish area as necessary.
Emptying and cleaning trash and recycling cans.
Requirements
Qualifications
Prior related experience preferred; food service experience helpful.
Knowledge of proper sanitation techniques is also helpful.
Must be able to withstand variations in temperature from freezers, coolers, and the kitchen.
Must be able to safely lift up to 40 pounds.

Maintenance Responsibilities Include:
Performs hands-on work for indoor and outdoor building maintenance including electrical, HVAC, major equipment, life safety systems, and emergency systems under the direction of the Director. Also performs and completes wheelchair and medical equipment repairs.
Performs preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance repairs as directed.
Performs snow removal and ice prevention tasks as directed.
Moves residents and community-owned furniture and stores in a neat and orderly fashion to prevent damage as required.
Responds to emergency calls when requested.
Performs security rounds of the entire campus.
Set-ups for special events and assists with trash removal as requested.
Requirements
Maintenance Qualifications:
General knowledge of electrical equipment, lighting, power distribution, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Valid PA Driver's License with at least 2 years driving experience required.
Trade or technical school (or equivalent experience) required.
Must have the ability to work productively with minimum or no supervision.

Med Tech responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists residents with medications as prescribed and in an accurate & appropriate manner ensuring resident health and safety in compliance with State regulations.
Assists residents in maintaining health with accurate blood pressure checks, prescribed dietary supplements, encouragement of exercise and participation in activities, and extra assistance during resident illness as directed by LPN Team Leader.

What You'll Do

What You'll Do
Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of resident meals
Honor resident choice by supporting individual food preferences and dietary needs

Complete required documentation including food temperatures, dishwasher temps, and refrigeration logs
Clean and sanitize the kitchen and dining areas after meals and between mealtimes, including sweeping and mopping as assigned
Store, rotate, and manage weekly food stock orders using the Cater-Trax system
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety guidelines
Perform daily cleaning tasks according to the Household Cleaning Checklist

What do I need for this role with Garden Spot?

CPR & first aid certification required.
